  1. Post update

That's all from me this evening.

Republic of Ireland are left third in their group - with just one point - behind Denmark and Wales following that goalless draw. But Netherlands have moved to within a point of France in their group following their first win. Germany sit at the bottom with one point.

  2. Post update

Republic of Ireland's Jeff Hendrick speaking to Sky Sports on his decision not to stop playing: "Initially I didn't know Harry Arter was behind me. We are told since we are kids to play to the whistle and it didn't go. I should have punished them.

"If that was me and there was a player down and wanted to stop play, I'd have kicked it out not stopped it on the halfway line with nobody there covering.

"I can understand his anger but what do you want me to do? There was no whistle so I'm not going to stop.

On the game: "We had to be patient and reserve our energy and grow into the game. We could have nicked it at the end there.

"The lads dug deep tonight. They had a lot of the ball but at times we did test them. It is something to grow on definitely."

  3. 'It's progress'

FT: Republic of Ireland 0-0 Denmark

Republic of Ireland's James McClean on Sky Sports: "It wasn't pretty football wise. But we dug in and battled very well. You'll be able to tell me if it was a penalty at the end (on Shane Duffy), I cant see why he'd need to dive. First point on the board and it's progress.

"I haven't played at wing-back too many times. But don't get me wrong I enjoyed it tonight.

"I think we'd probably have to put the boxing gloves on if Jeff Hendrick scored that. He's missed so it's not too big of a talking point."

  4. Post update

    FT: Netherlands 3-0 Germany

    Another niche stat...

Virgil van Dijk has only attempted two shots in his last seven games for the Netherlands. But he's scored both of them!

    Cheeky.

  5. Post update

FT: Republic of Ireland 0-0 Denmark

The Republic of Ireland are now without a win in four competitive matches, with three of those coming against Denmark.

They have drawn two of those and lost one.

  6. Post update

    FT: Netherlands 3-0 Germany

Germany have won just three of their last 12 matches. Their last competitive win was against Sweden in the World Cup group stages - before their shock early exit.

Their other victories were against Saudi Arabia and Peru.

And now a yellow card for Shane Duffy for diving. That is a bold call...

  10. PENALTY APPEAL

    Republic of Ireland 0-0 Denmark

The ball is played into the box by the hosts in a late attempt to grab a winner and Shane Duffy goes down to the ground under pressure from the defender.

He thinks it's a penalty and so do the supporters! There's huge roars and the referee blows his whistle but he penalises the Irishman for a dive!

    Netherlands 3-0 Germany

    All over in Amsterdam.

  12. GOAL - Netherlands 3-0 Germany

    Georginio Wijnaldum

Well, this is just rubbing it in. Germany are still not very good.

Georginio Wijnaldum twists and darts away in the box before smashing it into the far corner with his right foot.

    Germany are well beaten.

Memphis Depay smashes the cross bar with a powerful curling effort. He wants more goals!

  15. Post update

    Republic of Ireland 0-0 Denmark

Confident goalkeeping from Darren Randolph. Denmark loft it in and the keeper does well under pressure to pick it out from the air.

  18. GOAL - Netherlands 2-0 Germany

    Memphis Depay (85 mins)

Netherlands take advantage of a devastating counter-attack. Quincy Promes escapes down the right and has acres of space and time to pick out Memphis Depay.

He does and Depay only has to chip it over keeper Manuel Neuer and into the back of the net.

    Game over for Germany.

    .
  19. CLOSE!

    Republic of Ireland 0-0 Denmark

Pione Sisto passes it through to Martin Braithwaite but his effort is well saved by Darren Randolph.
