Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
So Chelsea striker Erin Cuthbert will be the lone Scot flying the flag in the Women's Champions League quarter-finals when the competition resumes in March.
Most of Glasgow City's players will now take a well-earned break, a 12th consecutive SWPL title safely stashed in the trophy cabinet, although several of them are likely to be involved in Scotland's friendly against the USA on 13 November.
Our attention returns to the men's game on Saturday, when we'll bring you live coverage of five Premiership games, starting with St Mirren v Rangers at 12:30, as well as a full card in the Championship and Leagues One and Two.
Until then, thanks for your company, and enjoy the rest of your evening.
City 'gave everything' against 'class act' Barca
FT: Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
Glasgow City head coach Scott Booth applauded his players' efforts despite the uphill nature of their task against a full-time professional outfit.
"I felt we gave absolutely everything in both legs to be honest," he told BBC Alba. "When you look at the way this team [Barcelona] play, they are a class act and they have got more resources than us.
"They are full-time and that makes a massive difference. They are fitter and have got great technical players.
"But my players worked so, so hard over the two legs, and I am very happy with what they have done."

Barcelona & Slavia Praha complete quarter-final line-up
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
City are not the only team who have found life tough in this last-16 stage of the Women's Champions League.
Dutch side Ajax lost 13-0 on aggregate to holders Lyon, Spanish champions Atletico Madrid were beaten 10-0 over two legs by Wolfsburg and Italian outfit Fiorentina were thumped 6-0 at home - and 7-0 on aggregate - by English champions Chelsea.
Those three, along with Paris St-Germain, Bayern Munich, Norwegian side LSK Kvinner and Slavia Praha, who have drawn 0-0 at home to Rosengard tonight after a 3-2 win away, will join Barcelona in the quarter-final draw on 9 November.

Barcelona into Champions League quarter-finals
So no miracle from the Scottish champions, and barely a murmur. Barcelona were ultimately far too classy, and eased through in some comfort.

Two changes for City
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
City coach Scott Booth takes the opportunity to give a couple of other players a taste of the Champions League.
Murron Cunningham enters the fray, with Hayley Lauder departing, a few minutes after Jordan Mclintock comes on for Kirsty Howat.
CLOSE!
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
Alexia Putellas twice comes close to grabbing her second goal, and Barca's fourth, of the night. First she seizes on a poor clearing header from City captain Leanne Ross and her left-foot drive forces Lee Alexander to dive to her right to divert it wide.
From the resultant corner, Putellas has a free header but can only direct it wide.
City's Grant takes her leave
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
Scotland Women's head coach Shelley Kerr is in the crowd tonight, keeping an eye on the likes of City quartet Lee Alexander, Hayley Lauder, Jo Love and Leanne Crichton with a friendly against USA coming up on 13 November.
A difficult night for Abbi Grant, another Scotland contender who won her sole cap in a friendly against New Zealand in March, is over as she is replaced by Megan Foley.
Post update
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
Barcelona make a third substitution, Candela Andujar coming on for Natasha Andonova.
Hasta luego Losada
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
Barcelona decide to give captain Vicky Losada - imperious this evening - a breather, sending on Elise Bussaglia in her place. That's the visitors' second change, with Leila Ouahabi already on for Maria Leon.
Barca 'have found ruthless edge'
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona

One thing Barca had lacked tonight was a clinical edge to their play... in the first half at least. They appear to have found that ruthlessness in the second half. City are in a battle to keep the score down now.
Duggan double brings Neville cheer
Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
One man who will be happy with what he's seen tonight will be England Women's manager Phil Neville, as he ponders his options for forthcoming friendlies with Austria and Sweden.
Toni Duggan has been a bright spark all night, full of running and a constant danger to City's defence, always playing on the shoulder of the last defender.
And of course she's taken her two goals in a calm, composed fashion.
Excellent touch from Duggan

GOAL - Glasgow City 0-3 (0-8) Barcelona
Toni Duggan
Barca are toying with City now. Another great ball in from the left flank from Andressa Alves, and Toni Duggan - given far too much room in the City area - brings it down smartly, turns and volleys it into the corner past a helpless Lee Alexander.
GOAL - Glasgow City 0-2 (0-7) Barcelona
Alexia Putellas
Well if City had any thoughts of a second-half comeback, Barcelona have extinguished those within three minutes of the resumption.
A poor City clearance lands at the feet of Vicky Losada, and the Barca captain advances towards the edge of the box before sliding a short ball through to Alexia Putellas, who slots it home. All too easy really.
Back under way...
Glasgow City 0-1 (0-6) Barcelona
Barcelona, 6-0 up on aggregate and with more than one foot in the quarter-finals already, kick off the second half.
City 'need to be less wasteful'

City 'have worked extremely hard'

Glasgow City will be disappointed they haven't had any moments where they have really frightened Barcelona's backline or sparked their support into life.
But they have worked extremely hard to ensure Barcelona haven't run away with it.
