  1. Thanks and goodbye

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

That is the end of this live page on what proved to be a routine afternoon for Manchester United.

For the rest of Saturday's Premier League matches, head this way.

Thanks for joining us and until next time, bye for now.

  2. Pogba and Martial shine in Man Utd win - read the report

    Man United celebrate

Confident Manchester United moved into the Premier League's top four with a dominant win over struggling Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Anthony Martial was in sensational form, making the first for Paul Pogba and scoring a wonderful second as United secured their 10th victory in 11 games under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Pogba wrapped up the points in the second half when he stroked home from the penalty spot after Juan Mata was fouled in the area.

Despite fielding a much-changed defence, they were rarely troubled by a Fulham team who have now conceded 58 goals this season and remain firmly entrenched in the relegation zone.

United on the other hand have moved above Chelsea on 51 points with their recent stunning form pushing them into the hunt for an end-of-season Champions League spot.

  3. 'The players have some fantastic qualities'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on MOTD: "The first 10 minutes we made it hard for ourselves but it's always hard to come here with the crowd and the pitch. But we managed the game well and we came through the first 10 minutes to score some fantastic goals.

"The players have some fantastic qualities. I've been supporting United for many years and you go into every match thinking United is going to win - and the players are thinking that way now."

  4. 'We still wanted to score'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Fulham

More from Fulham manager Claudio Ranieri on Sky Sports: "We have to work hard it's important to maintain the hope to do our best. I watch my team down three nil but we still wanted to score which is a good thing."

On the first goal and whether Sergio Rico should have done better: "I don't know, it was from a very short distance but I do not know about that."

On getting booed for taking off Schurrle: "I changed it because I wanted to put Babel behind the two strikers and push the full-backs higher up."

  5. 'We lost our calm'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Fulham

Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri on MOTD: "The first 10 minutes were very good - we created two good chances. But after we conceded the goal we lost our calm and our composure. But when you play against good teams you can make mistakes and they score goals.

"I tried to give more opportunity to my players with two strikers with Vietto and Mitrovic as strikers and Babel in behind. We tried to do something good in the second half and we did a lot of crosses but we couldn't create much.

"I had two players with the flu in the week - Andre Schurrle just trained the last two or three days - so the fans always want what they want but I have to do these changes."

  6. 'I've always looked further ahead'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Manchester United

More from Manchester United interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to Sky Sports:

"I've always looked further ahead. I've followed United since I signed for them as a player. Who can produce and perform now, next year and in two years?

"It's such a young squad, an exciting squad. At the moment I'm just concentrating on getting us up the table, let's hope we can stay there and go higher. We have to do everything ourselves and not rely on anyone for help."

  7. 'We controlled it'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Manchester United's interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer speaking to Sky Sports:

"There is always an element of risk (with team changes) but if you don't risk you don't win. I have to trust the players, I didn't feel there was a problem playing any of them. They put us under pressure in the first 10 minutes but after we scored I thought we were excellent.

"The most pleasing thing was in the second half, the way we controlled it. We could have had four or five goals, it was different to what we did against Leicester so another improvement.

"We wanted Ander [Herrera] further down to control it more. We know about Paul's quality going forward and what a strike it is. The second one with Anthony [Martial}, we know his qualities."

    On releasing Pogba to perform:

"I've not released those, he is playing to his potential, we are trying to put the team forward to put player in positions to where they can hurt teams.Paul can do that with his qualities. I speak to him like I do with the others, that's management. He's responding to the way we do things."

  8. 'Pogba a completely different player'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Paul Ince

Former England midfielder on Final Score

It beggars belief, the way Paul Pogba was playing at the start of the season, and look at him now. He's a completely different player. He's showing all the things you'd expect for the money Manchester United paid for him.

    .
  9. 'Ole gives joy to everyone'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba speaking to MOTD: "I think we've had games where we've played much better and haven't scored three goals. I think in the first half we didn't control the game but we scored two goals and after that we got another and then controlled it.

"I always say playing altogether with the lads, attacking together, defending together helps everyone.

"The good atmosphere helps the team, and for me, being more in the box gives me more chances to score.

"I think Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] is just being himself. He isn't acting and he can give joy to everyone and confidence to everyone.

"There's still along way to go and we have a lot of big games coming up. Next is Paris St-Germain and then we have to keep trying to get three points in the league."

SMS Message: Mitrovic of two years ago would've probably punched De Gea after De Gea put his hand round his neck (and didn't get sent off!!). So actually his restraint is showing how much he's developed as a captain. from Miles

  11. 'Big games coming up'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Manchester United

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba speaking to Sky Sports:

"It feels great, that’s what we wanted since Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] came. We talked about this there’s still a long way to go but we want to stay there.

"We were very far behind and now we get back to the top four but there’s still a long way to go with big games coming up so it won’t be easy. The big teams now they just stay there. It will be the big games coming up now that decide where we end the season."

    On scoring & penalty technique:

"It’s always great to score goals, most important is to win games. When you score but don’t win it’s not the same feeling. I shot, I just tried with my left foot and the ball went in.

"I just focus on trying to put the ball inside the goal. This game was very important, like you can see we are fourth, even though Chelsea haven’t played. It’s a good sign, even though we have to carry on to stay there."

  12. 'We weren't at it today'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Fulham

Fulham midfielder Calum Chambers on Sky Sports: "United are a top team but we're disappointed with the result. The rest of the season is going to be tough but we have to give 100% every game and now it's onto the next one.

"I don't think we were at it today - I think we can be a lot better than that - especially today."

Are Fulham running out of time? "That's the worry but we have to keep faith and trust in the manager. We have to keep fighting to stay in this league and that's all we can do."

  13. Right decisions from Solskjaer

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Danny Mills

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

Was it genius by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, resting six players? We questioned that at the start but it now looks the right decision.

They'll now be fresh for Tuesday night against PSG. But as good as Manchester United were today, Fulham were equally as bad.

  14. United up to fourth

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

A top-four spot looked a long way off for Manchester United when Jose Mourinho was in charge. Now, they're up to fourth, moving above Chelsea.

  15. 'Lacking courage'

    Fulham 0-3 Manchester United

    Danny Mills

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

There's a way of showing fighting spirit... and that from Mitrovic was not it. Fighting spirit is working hard and putting people under pressure.

Fulham haven't played to Mitrovic's strengths but there's no point going round squaring up to people with a minute to go.

Courage in football nowadays is about having the ball, making a difference, being prepared to accept the ball in difficult positions and making tough choices, and no-one's done that for Fulham today.

Sahil Oberoi: When Ole took over, we were 11 points off fourth with a goal difference of 0. Eleven games later, fourth, with a goal difference of 17. The best part about it, he knows his best XI, which Mourinho couldn't manage in 3 seasons.

Ian Shepherd: Man Utd are currently on the sort of run Chelsea had a few yrs ago to win the title... seen as they have city liverpool and Chelsea 2 play they r gonna have a BIG say in how this all goes. They couldn't...could they??

Amardeep: Just give Ole the job.. at least he can start planning for summer transfer window and I doubt we'll get poch anyways.
