Arturo Vidal is down hurt after a bizarre coming together with Clement Lenglet. The French defender stuck his studs out to control a pass and Vidal slid in ahead of him and ended up being stamped on. He's OK though.

Sergio Busquets also took a bad knock in a 50-50 so Barca have two players waiting to come back on again.

Arturo Vidal slides in through the back of Sergio Garcia and concedes a free-kick on the edge of the box.

Esteban Granero is very much interested.

  14. Post update

    Espanyol 0-4 Barcelona

Gerard Pique was racing up the park, desperate for a fifth. But Espanyol cover back and recover via a foul on Philippe Coutinho.

Even Lionel Messi can't shoot from this free-kick - and his cross is just too long for Arturo Vidal's lunge.

  15. Post update

    Espanyol 0-4 Barcelona

A nearly half empty stadium is already emptying further still. It hasn't quite gone as planned for Espanyol tonight.

  18. Post update

    Espanyol 0-4 Barcelona

In amongst all that, and it did take far too long, Esteban Granero came on to replace Sergi Darder in the Espanyol midfield.

    Espanyol 0-4 Barcelona

Oscar Duarte is deemed to have been offside when stabbing home what would have been a deserved consolation. Espanyol have had their moments.
