  1. Thanks and goodbye

Atalanta 3-0 Juventus / Barcelona 6-1 Sevilla (6-3 on aggregate)

A very enjoyable evening of European football. Atalanta produced a surprise to beat Juventus 3-0 in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia, before Barcelona overturned a two-goal first-leg deficit to put six past Sevilla to move into the Copa del Rey semi-finals.

As always, thanks for joining us and for your comments. Until next time, goodbye for now.

  2. FULL-TIME - Barcelona 6-1 Sevilla (6-3 on aggregate)

Scott: Barcelona have just scored a ridiculous team goal. Magical.

Ayo: Super counter attack by Barca to wrap this game up! Amazing!

  4. GOAL - Barcelona 6-1 Sevilla (6-3 on aggregate)

    Lionel Messi

Just to make sure. Lionel Messi has a deserved goal, he has been truly superb tonight. And it is a beautiful one-touch move involving four different players ending with Jordi Alba's backheel setting up Messi, who finishes it off. A sensational goal. How football should be played.

  5. GOAL - Barcelona 5-1 Sevilla (5-3 on aggregate)

    Luis Suarez

That will do it. Sevilla push forward for the goal that would take them into the semi-final, but instead get hit on a brilliant counter-attack after they had a corner.

Lionel Messi, as always, leads the charge, Jordi Alba's cross finds Luis Suarez and he taps into the empty net at the back post to send Barcelona into the semi-finals.

  6. Nantes pay tribute to missing Sala

    Nantes 1-1 St Etienne

    Emiliano Sala tifo

Nantes players wore shirts bearing Emiliano Sala's name during their first match since their former striker went missing.

Emotional tributes were paid to Argentine Sala, 28, before Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Saint Etienne in Ligue 1. Sala and pilot David Ibbotson were on board a light aircraft that disappeared over the Channel Islands on 21 January.

A video featuring Sala's highlights as a Nantes player was played before the game at the Stade de la Beaujoire. Fans were visibly upset, while Argentina flags and 'Sala' scarves were waved in the stands.

Players from both sides wore shirts bearing a photo of Sala and the message 'On t'aime Emi' - which translates as 'we love you Emi' - during the warm-up, while players also wore green armbands symbolising hope during the match. Play was stopped in the ninth minute as players and fans honoured a minute's applause, which reduced Nantes manager Vahid Halilhodzic to tears.

In first-half stoppage time, Nantes' Fabio and Saint Etienne's Yann M'Vila were sent off for arguing with each other.

The visitors' Remy Cabella opened the scoring after the break, tapping the ball in from millimetres out after Nantes had attempted to clear. But Majeed Waris salvaged a point for Nantes with 20 minutes to play, celebrating by tapping a photograph of Sala on a top under his shirt.

  7. Post update

Barcelona 4-1 Sevilla (4-3 on aggregate)

Five minutes left. Sevilla need to score. There will not be extra time, there will not be penalties. One more goal and they go through on away goals.

  8. 'If it's a dream, please don't wake us up'

    Atalanta 3-0 Juventus

This is how the Atalanta Twitter feed reported their 3-0 win over Juventus.

  10. GREAT SAVE!

Barcelona 4-1 Sevilla (4-3 on aggregate)

How has it not gone in? Sergio Busquets finds Luis Suarez with a wonderful ball, he squares it for Lionel Messi, who is soon inside the six-yard area and Juan Soriano throws himself at it and saves it with his leg. That save has kept Sevilla in the cup, for 15 minutes at least.

  11. Post update

Barcelona 4-1 Sevilla (4-3 on aggregate)

One more goal for Sevilla and they would go through on away goals.

  12. GOAL - Barcelona 4-1 Sevilla (4-3 on aggregate)

    Guilherme Arana

    This one's not done yet.

Jasper Cillessen was the hero earlier on with a penalty save, now he is the villain as a misjudged clearance falls to a Sevilla player and eventually it comes to Guilherme Arana, who shoots into the net.

However, we had the bizarre situation where we had a VAR review and we could've had either a Barcelona penalty or a Sevilla goal.

A cross, at close range, hit a Sevilla hand in their own box, they countered, Barcelona won back possession, Cillessen gave it to the visitors and Arana then scored.

  13. Post update

Barcelona 4-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

Sevilla winger Guilherme Arana tries his luck from 25 yards out. Close, but over the top.

    Atalanta 3-0 Juventus

Babatunde Sakiru: Finally, Juve unbeaten run ended with great embarrassment. The players should cover their face in shame.

  15. CLOSE!

Barcelona 4-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

A chance to have made it interesting. A cross from the left finds Sevilla forward Andre Silva free at the near post, he glances a header goalwards, but does not get enough on it as he steers it wide. Should've done better. Poor.

  16. Post update

Barcelona 4-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

Don't forget the part Jasper Cillessen has played in all this. His penalty save was crucial as it would have given Sevilla a 3-1 lead on aggregate at the time. Seems a long time ago now.

  17. DISALLOWED GOAL

Barcelona 4-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

Philippe Coutinho smashes the ball past Juan Soriano. Hat-trick? Nope. He had gone just a bit too early and is offside.

  18. GOAL - Barcelona 4-0 Sevilla (4-2 on aggregate)

    Sergi Roberto

And another! Two goals in a minute and that could be Barcelona done and dusted into the semi-finals.

Lionel Messi picks up the ball on the right wing and instantly runs at the away defence. With three Sevilla defenders trying to close him down, Messi slides a perfectly-weightly ball into the path of Sergi Roberto and he slots it past Juan Soriano. Lovely goal.

  19. GOAL - Barcelona 3-0 Sevilla (3-2 on aggregate)

    Philippe Coutinho

A cross from the right from Luis Suarez and Philippe Coutinho, sprinting towards the near post, gets in front of his marker and can send a powerful header at goal.

The goalkeeper maybe should have done better but that is two for Coutinho.
