  1. 'Sore' penalty decision for Queens

Aberdeen 4-1 Queen of the South

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Quote Message: He's taken it well Sam Cosgrove. He gives Martin no chance of getting that one. But I feel a little bit for the visitors. How do you get out of the road of that one? It comes off the body first then his arm. It's a sore one for Queen of the South
  2. GOAL Aberdeen 4-1 Queen of the South

    Sam Cosgrove (penalty)

It's surely all over now at Pittodrie, but it is a controversial penalty that hands the Dons their fourth goal.

Shay Logan's cross into the midriff of Andy Stirling comes off the midfielder's stomach and on to his elbow and referee Euan Anderson points to the spot.

Despite the visitors' protests, the decision stands and Sam Cosgrove slots the spot kick firmly into the corner for 16th goal of the season and fourth in two games.

  3. McGinn does the business

Aberdeen 3-1 Queen of the South

    Tyrone Smith

    BBC Scotland

Quote Message: Niall McGinn has made quite an impact since coming on. Goal taker, and maker, he has completely turned the game for Aberdeen
    Aberdeen's Niall McGinn
Image caption: Niall McGinn was a half-time substitution for Aberdeen, and has a goal and two assists
  4. 'Sub McGinn turns the game'

Aberdeen 3-1 Queen of the South

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Radio Scotland

Quote Message: You would imagine there's no way back for Queen of the South now. Niall McGinn comes on at half-time and turns the game completely, scores the goal and supplies the cross to Considine, which he heads in, then picks out Sam Cosgrove to give Aberdeen their third goal
  5. Sorry...

Apologies for the headline of this page being out of date, but we are having some technical issues!

  6. GOAL Aberdeen 3-1 Queen of the South

    Sam Cosgrove

What a substitution that was by Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes.

He brings on Niall McGinn and the winger scores one and sets up the Dons next two goals.

This time, he sends in an inswinging cross and big Sam Cosgrove heads down and into the net off the turf.

    Goal
  7. 'Auchinleck did themselves proud'

FT: Heart of Midlothian 4-0 Auchinleck Talbot

    Julie Fleeting

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: Hearts were professional, organised, dynamic in all areas of the pitch and it was very difficult for Auchinleck, but their second-half performance they can take great credit from. They did themselves proud, their village proud and everybody in the junior game
  8. GOAL Aberdeen 2-1 Queen of the South

    Andrew Considine

Aberdeen are back in front as Gary Mackay-Steven rolls a short corner into the path of Niall McGinn and the Northern Irishman, who opened the scoring, curls in a cross that is powered home via the head of Andrew Considine.

It's deja vu as the big defender scored in Aberdeen's replay win over Queens seven years ago.

    Goal
  9. FULL-TIME Heart of Midlothian 4-0 Auchinleck Talbot

A comprehensive win for Craig Levein's side and they cruise into the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.

Christophe Berra's header got them up and running, Demetri Mitchell netted the second and laid on the third, scored by Steven Maclean, before the break.

Aidan Keena's 86th-minute effort rounded off the win amid a slew of Hearts chances.

With Hearts down to 10 men for the final 12 minutes after Michael Smith's injury and Talbot and their raucous away support were denied a late consolation when Stephen Wilson was adjudged to have scored from an offside position.

But they can be proud of their team's endeavour and drive right to the end.

  10. Sinclair man of match

    FT: Celtic 5-0 St Johnstone

It's no surprise that you chose Scott Sinclair as your man of the match considering the winger's hat-trick in Celtic's demolition of St Johnstone.

    Man of match
  11. DISALLOWED GOAL

Heart of Midlothian 4-0 Auchinleck Talbot

Talbot denied a consolation goal as Stephen Wilson diverts Mark Shankland's effort into the Hearts net, but the offside flag is up.

  12. 'Wonderful' goal for Keena

Heart of Midlothian 4-0 Auchinleck Talbot

    Allan Preston

    BBC Scotland summariser

Quote Message: Wonderful composure from Keena. Chops one way, back to the other and smashes it - wonderful goal from the youngster. That will give him a lot of confidence. Levein could have left him at Dunfermline, but he brought him back because he has a part to play
  13. Always a chance with Dobbie

Aberdeen 1-1 Queen of the South

    Allan Preston

    BBC Scotland summariser

Quote Message: With Dobbie in your ranks, you always have a chance. What a wonderful career he's had - still banging the goals in - 38 now, with still a number of months to go. Target must be 50 now surely
  14. GOAL Heart of Midlothian 4-0 Auchinleck Talbot

    Aidan Keena

Auchinleck are desperate to finish with a flourish and attack the end housing their supporters with great vigour.

Sean McIlroy blasts high and wide from the edge of the bo, and it's Hearts who power downfield and extend their lead.

A lovely jinking run from Aidan Keena bamboozles a couple of Talbot defenders and the teenage striker strokes home.

    Hearts goal
  15. Dobbie impresses Dons fans

Aberdeen 1-1 Queen of the South

    Tyrone Smith

    BBC Scotland at Pittodrie

Quote Message: Even some of the Aberdeen fans are applauding that Dobbie strike
  16. GOAL Aberdeen 1-1 Queen of the South

    Stephen Dobbie

Just when you think the game has swung in the favourites' direction, up steps Queens' Mr Goals to bring the Championship side back into the game.

Veteran striker Stephen Dobbie strides forward and unleashes a drive that is still rising as it flashes past goalkeeper Joe Lewis from 25 yards.

    Goal
  17. Smith hobbles off

Heart of Midlothian 3-0 Auchinleck Talbot

Michael Smith is down and hurting. Hearts have made all three substitues.

The right-back can't continue, so the home side will play the remaining 12 minutes or so with 10 men.

  18. GOAL Aberdeen 1-0 Queen of the South

    Niall McGinn

A minute into the second half at Pittodrie and Aberdeen make the breakthrough.

Niall McGinn has come on as a half-time substitute for Stevie May and curls a delightful drive past goalkeeper Alan Martin and into the far corner from the edge of the box, pouncing after the ball was played into his path by a tackle on Sam Cosgrove.

    Goal
  19. CLOSE!

Heart of Midlothian 3-0 Auchinleck Talbot

Two chances in quick succession for the junior side.

Keir Samson, who has come on for Steven White, makes an instant impact, pouncing on a Steven Naismith mistake and his shot is deflected for a corner by Christophe Berra.

From the corner, Samson heads wide with one of his team-mates appearing to get in his way at the back post.

  20. Good display from Ikpeazu

Heart of Midlothian 3-0 Auchinleck Talbot

    Allan Preston

    BBC Scotland summariser

Quote Message: Ikpeazu has played really well, he's been out a long time. He's frustrated he didn't get his goal, almost got it there. Replacing a 6'4 with another 6'4 in David Vanecek, doesn't get any easier for Talbot
