  1. How it stands

    South Africa 0-4 Germany

And this is how it stands in Group B. Spain are currently on course to finish second with a draw.

  2. Elsewhere in Group B

    South Africa 0-4 Germany

The other group game is being greedy - it is getting all the goals.

Germany have struck again to make it 4-0 against South Africa.

You can watch that game here.

  3. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

Another change for China as Li Wen comes on for Wang Shuang.

Spain are quick off the mark when play is restarted as Lucía García's shot is blocked. It's another corner for Spain, but it comes to nothing.

  4. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

Lovely backheel by Jenni Hermoso deep inside her own half sets Spain away on the attack.

Lucía García then quickly puts Nahikari García through but the forward's shot is disappointing as she sweeps it well wide.

Silvio Di Fede: It is bad when 3rd-placed teams can advance.

  6. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

Patri Guijarro's turn and shot is deflected behind for a corner - the first of the game.

Guijarro meets Jenni Hermoso's floated delivery but her header is easy pickings for Peng Shimeng.

  7. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

The early signs are that this half will follow the pattern of play in the first half - Spain with the majority of the possession.

Yet to see if the change in attack will yield more opportunities however. Quite a scrappy start to the second half with a few free kicks.

Tony Reekie: I see the error in backing China today as I thought they had to go for it but are clearly happy with 3rd place.

    China 0-0 Spain

Changes for both sides for the second half.

Forward Andrea Falcon replaces Mariona Caldentey for Spain while China also make an attacking switch as Yang Li replaces Wang Shanshan.

Spain get the second half under way.

  10. Post update

    Nigeria v France (20:00 BST)

Hosts France have qualified for the last-16 but still need a point to ensure they finish top of Group A.

You can watch their third and final group game live on BBC Four and the BBC Sport website from 19:45 BST.

    Will Nigeria cause a shock?

  11. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

China did not have a shot of any description in the first half – only the fourth time at this tournament a team hasn’t had a shot of any description in the first 45 minutes.

Indeed, China only had three touches in Spain’s penalty area in the first half.

    China 0-0 Spain

There goes the whistle for half time.

    Light on goals and entertainment.

  13. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

A rare break for China gives their fans something to cheer as Li Ying is just beaten to a cross inside the Spain box.

A goal for China just before the break would certainly put the cat among the pigeons.

  14. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

Bold stuff from Peng Shimeng as she once again comes way off her line to punch away Jenni Hermoso's free-kick. The loose ball is picked up by a Spain player but once again there are too many China players in the way and the opportunity is swiftly snuffed out.

  15. Elsewhere in Group B

    South Africa 0-3 Germany

No lack of goals in the other Group B game.

Germany have added a third against South Africa, Alex Popp with the goal.

You can watch that game here.

  16. How it looks

    China 0-0 Spain

Everything to play for in Le Havre. Spain are clinging to second spot in Group B but everything changes if China go ahead.

  17. CLOSE!

    China 0-0 Spain

    That's more like it!

A lapse in concentration in the China defence as Jenni Hermoso is left all alone in the box for a change and she meets Virginia Torrecilla's cross but her header towards the near post is stopped on the line by Peng Shimeng.

  18. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

Assuming they are to meet in the last 16, I don't think the USA have anything to fear based on Spain's showing so far. While China's defending has been excellent, Spain have lacked the guile and creativity to try and force mistakes or openings.

    China v Spain
  19. Post update

    China 0-0 Spain

Another Spain opportunity but Virginia Torrecilla lashes over from just outside the box after being teed up by Mariona Caldentey. Disappointing effort after a promising attack.
