  1. Good spine from Chelsea

    Chelsea 2-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison

Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

The spine of Chelsea has been really good tonight. From Antonio Rudiger, to Jorginho and N'Golo Kante, but the star of the show has to be Eden Hazard.

  2. Post update

    Chelsea 2-0 West Ham

Time remaining for Eden Hazard to net a hat-trick?

He could have done if N'Golo Kante had passed him the ball in the final third.

  3. Hazard has been unbelievable

    Chelsea 2-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison

Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Stick another £10m on Hazard. He has been unbelievable tonight. You knew his first touch was going to be good and you knew his second would be hard and low beneath Lukasz Fabianski.

  4. GOAL - Chelsea 2-0 West Ham

    Eden Hazard

    Finally.

Chelsea have worked and worked for the second goal and get it in the final minutes.

It is thoroughly deserved for Eden Hazard, collecting Ross Barkley's ball over the top after the West Ham defenders are slow to come out, taking a touch and carressing a finish into the far corner.

    10/10 performance from Hazard tonight.

  6. CLOSE!

Chelsea just cannot get that elusive second goal.

  7. Post update

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga taking a few too many seconds in this goal kick again.

Will the referee give him a second yellow?

Can you believe it? 20 yards in front of us there are Chelsea fans leaving the stadium with the game still in the balance.

  10. Good save

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison

Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Chelsea kept hold of the ball on the left-hand side for an age. They worked it through to Ross Barkley, who put in a nice ball. It's a good save from Lukasz Fabianski.

  11. CLOSE!

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Chelsea in again, Ross Barkley slipping in Olivier Giroud, but the Frenchman's low shot is well blocked at the near post by West Ham goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

From the corner, Fabian Balbuena twists and shoots over.

  16. Optical illusion

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Conor McNamara

    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

That was an optical illusion! It looked like it was in. How close was that!? What a scare for Chelsea. There will be mutiny here if they concede a late equaliser.

  17. CLOSE!

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Goalllll! It's innnnn. No????

Robert Snodgrass's inch perfect cross is headed towards goal by Marko Arnautovic, it comes off Emerson Palmieri and hits the sidenetting before rolling around the back of the net.

Half of the ground thought it was in.

  18. Anderson not tracking

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

    Don Hutchison

Former West Ham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live

Aaron Cresswell is going absolutely ballistic at Felipe Anderson because he hasn't even bothered to track back!

  19. YELLOW CARD

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Chelsea skipper Cesar Azpilicueta booked for a late challenge on Felipe Anderson down the left wing.

  20. Post update

    Chelsea 1-0 West Ham

Awful from Cesar Azpilicueta, sneaking into the box but then having a go from the angle which is whacked over the crossbar.

Groans from those inside Stamford Bridge.
