  1. Goodnight

That game was a lot more entertaining than I expected to be honest. So were the post-match interviews.

That's the end of this live page now, thanks for joining me today and getting involved in the debate.

SMS Message: The way to stop time-wasting, and it's a far bigger blight on our game than diving by the way, is to have an official clock which stops when the match is paused. Referees never add on sufficient time which is why players continue to do it. It's an effective tactic. from Jonathan (Liverpool fan)

Gianfranco Zola added that N'Golo Kante's injury is not expected to be a bad one. He was replaced at half-time by Mateo Kovacic.

  4. Zola unhappy with Burnley timewasting

    Chelsea 2-2 Burnley

    Chelsea

Chelsea assistant boss Gianfranco Zola to BBC Sport: "We wanted to win. They didn’t want to lose.

"We are unhappy. There was too much time wasting. Five minutes injury time wasn’t enough to compensate. We couldn’t build important rhythm.

"We were hoping for something more. We are determined to fight until the end. This team are playing good football. We need to improve but we’re in a good way. We care as we showed today.

"We expected it to be a tough game. We didn’t expect so much time wasting. We expected Kevin [Friend, referee] to give more extra time. That’s why we’re very unhappy."

On Maurizio Sarri's red card for leaving his technical area...

"He was very upset because he has heard not good works towards him from the Burnley bench. The only reason he walked over there was to get our players to go into position, he was trying to help the ref. Kevin [Friend] misinterpreted. I’m disappointed, he wanted to help him."

    On Callum Hudson-Odoi's injury...

"It doesn’t look very good unfortunately. It’s a problem with his Achilles tendon. Tomorrow we'll know exactly what the problem is."

  5. Post update

Chelsea assistant boss Gianfranco Zola has done the post-match interviews, because he says manager Maurizio Sarri has "a lot of emotion".

    Chelsea 2-2 Burnley

    Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche asked by BBC Sport about the scuffle at full-time: "I didn't know, I was off clapping our fans. We brought great numbers here. By the time I turned round there was something going off at the tunnel.

"We are allowed to win or get a point at these big clubs.

"I'd be interested to see the physical stats. If someone goes down with cramp, I've seen their players go down with cramp before.

"We're not blessed with the most technical players - they cost a lot of money. We have a resilience. You are allowed to defend it out - it's part of the game."

  7. Post update

Referees just need to add on more injury time, how can you punish players for having cramp?

Chelsea's David Luiz clashes with Burnley striker Ashley Barnes

Chelsea defender David Luiz to Sky Sports: "We tried everything to win the game. It's difficult when you play against a team who have two chances and score two goals and didn't want to play the game.

"It's anti-football. Losing time [time wasting] all the time, especially when you have the ball. Their players went to the floor and stopped the game.

They were playing 11 inside the box. It's difficult to score against a team like that."

Luiz was also very criticial of referee Kevin Friend for not clamping down on the timewasting.

Sean Dyche applauds the Burnley fans at full time

Burnley boss Sean Dyche on Sky Sports: "We've shown resilience this season. There are players with more technical prowess than us for sure. There's been a lot of noise about this season, saying it's been a bad season - I actually think it's been a fantastic season.

"The confusion and injuries we had made it difficult. We had to remind ourselves of what got us where we are.

"You want to progress - as a manager and my players and staff. You've seen Dwight McNeil and the development of many players.

"I think we have a running wage bill of £58m and there can't be too many with less than that. We stay focused on the team and that's a really powerful thing for us.

"I get paid a tenner - I do it for love.

"I don't think we can relax and enjoy it - but after the season we've had to get to 40 points is a big marker. We know, unless strange things occur, we'll be working in the Premier League again next year."

John Southworth: I reckon Kovacic and Jorginho just spend every training session simply passing back and forth to each other.

swaroop MJ: I think we will need 3 seasons to rebuild with the transfer ban and losing Hazard. The team is one dimensional and has no clue

Seth Gogo Egoeh: The truth is that this Chelsea team is in big trouble next season if Hazard joins Real Madrid as expected, especially considering the ban on player transfers. Dark days ahead for Chelsea.

Rob (a neutral): love how Dyche is anti-diving because it is cheating yet he clearly promotes time wasting, also cheating.

Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton to Sky Sports: "It was a massive point. We knew it would be a tough game.

"You could see how much it meant to the lads. We've been very good at offensive and defensive set-plays.

"Gonzalo Higuain's shot was a rocket. I couldn't get my hands onto it.

"We can soak up pressure and make it awkward for teams."

Jon Spurling: Has there ever been a more inept ‘race’ for the top 4. It’s like Chelsea, United and Arsenal have been blindfolded, given eggs on spoons, had hurdles placed in the way and been told to get sprinting.

Kassim Patel: Results this game week really show the gulf in quality between City and Liverpool compared to the rest of the top 6

Mark: This weekend we’ve seen why the teams chasing for top 4 (Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, Man Utd) are fighting for that and not for the title - the pressure has told on them all.

    Chelsea 2-2 Burnley

Chelsea go back into the top four but they were looking for a win really. They are one point above fifth-placed Arsenal, but have played a game more.

That means the teams placed third, fourth, fifth and sixth picked up a combined one point on Easter weekend.
