    Reading and Bolton were the big losers at the bottom today, while Ipswich are 13 points adrift despite winning this afternoon.

    Just two points now separate 22nd-placed Rotherham and Wigan, in 19th. Wow, it's tight!

    Aston Villa's late win means it's they and Bristol City who are fifth and sixth in the Championship table.

    Even Hull (11th, 57 points) and Sheffield Wednesday (12th, 56 points) are still in the mix. It's all to play for!

    It's turned in to a super day for Norwich, as their 4-0 win is followed by a defeat for Leeds.

    Sheffield United are now a point above the Whites in second, while West Brom lost more ground on their rivals.

    • Lincoln extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points by beating MK Dons 2-0. Four points from their final five games will send the Imps up to League One.
    • Bury drop down to fourth in the table after they conceded late on to lose 3-2 to against 10-man Carlisle.
    • Swindon and Yeovil drew 1-1, while Notts County are held 2-2 at home by Northampton.
    • Sol Campbell's Macclesfield drew their third game in a row, 1-1 at home to Morecambe, and remain bottom of the table.

    • Leaders Luton preserve their five-month unbeaten run in League One - James Collins scored but was later sent off against Blackpool, but Jason Cummings scored late to snatch a 2-2 draw.
    • Second-placed Barnsley lost at Burton, while Sunderland and Portsmouth both won on the road.
    • Southend drew 2-2 at Fleetwood in their first game under new boss Kevin Bond, while struggling Walsall and Bradford went down to damaging home defeats.

    Bottom club Ipswich get a long-awaited win and pile more misery on second-from-bottom Bolton, who are surely down now as many of their rivals picked up points today.

    A very significant result! Leeds slip to third.

    Birmingham end their five-match losing run with a hard-fought win.

    Sheffield Wednesday are beaten for the first time under former Villa boss Steve Bruce, whose old side are in red hot form.


    Blackburn 0-1 Stoke

    Stoke miss another penalty but Peter Etebo ends their long goal drought to give the Potters all three points at Blackburn.

    Lincoln are 2-0 up at MK Dons and lowly Yeovil have equalised at Swindon!
