  1. Post update

    FT: Scotland 1-0 Brazil

That's all for tonight. Scotland have defeated Brazil, ranked 10 places above them.

Shelley Kerr's are in fine form ahead of the World Cup. We couldn't go and win the thing, could we?

We'll have the winning goal from Kim Little later on the BBC Sport Scotland website, and you can read Colin Moffat's match report here.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

    Pauline MacDonald

Former Scotland international on BBC Alba

Quote Message: The real positive is the number of chances we are creating against good teams. We're good defensively, we're well organised. The combination play tonight was definitely much improved.
  3. Post update

    FT: Scotland 1-0 Brazil

That's Scotland's first ever win over Brazil. And it has been a very good double-header for Scotland in the south of Spain, following on from the 1-1 draw with Chile on Friday.

They have one more friendly to come before the World Cup, a Hampden send-off against Jamaica on 28 May.

  4. FULL-TIME Scotland 1-0 Brazil

That's it. Scotland have defeated Brazil. It may only be a friendly but any win over Brazil at football is worthy of celebration.

The body language of the Brazilians shows they are far from happy with the result. But Scotland have now won four in a row.

  5. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

It's a good chance for Alves da Silva who gets the ball onto her left foot, but the shot is straight at Lee Alexander, who has dealt well with what Brazil have thrown at her tonight.

We're now into time added on.

  6. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Brazil's frustration is beginning to show, and it's Scotland now who are winning plenty of free-kicks which is helping them get up the park and keeping the ball away from their own goal.

They have 60 seconds plus whatever time is to be added on to hold onto this scoreline.

  7. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Oh Scotland so nearly make it 2-0. A delightful ball from the right hand side from Lizzie Arnot reaches Caroline Weir, who takes a great first touch to bring the ball down onto her right foot, but the goalkeeper does well to dive at her feet before she can pull the trigger.

  8. YELLOW CARD

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Erin Cuthbert gets a yellow card for picking the ball up and delaying a Brazilian free-kick. She gets hustled, pulled, pushed and wrestled, but no-one from the Brazil side joins her in the book.

  9. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Another corner to Brazil. Lee Alexander races from goal to try and punch the ball through a ruck of bodies. She hits traffic, but the referee blows for a Scotland free-kick regardless.

  11. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

A half chance for Scotland as Caroline Weir has an attempt at goal from distance.

A second goal with 10 minutes to go would surely seal the win for Shelley Kerr's side.

  12. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Much was expected of Marta before the game, the six-time winner of Fifa's Player of the Year award.

She has won plenty of free-kicks for her side, and showed glimpses of what she's capable of, but Scotland have handled her well enough.

Apologies to all Scotland fans if I've just jinxed it...

  13. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

    Pauline MacDonald

Former Scotland international on BBC Alba

Another corner to Brazil. It bounces off Jennifer Beattie and towards her own goal, but Lee Alexander is alert enough to prevent an own goal.

Quote Message: We need to stop giving away so many attacking set-plays to Brazil, because they are so creative.
  14. Post update

    Brazil 1-0 Scotland

Scotland haven't been much of an attacking force in this half, but at the same time Lee Alexander hasn't had as much to do as she did in the first 45 minutes either.

Brazil win two corners, but Scotland defend them well enough.

  15. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

    Pauline MacDonald

Former Scotland international on BBC Alba

Quote Message: I would like to see Scotland keep the ball for longer spells.
  16. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

It's not happening for Brazil up front. Marta attempts an overhead kick, but finds team-mate Maciel Mota in her way and she can't connect.

  17. SUBSTITUTION

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Scotland make another change. Kirsty Smith comes on for Claire Emslie as Scotland look to shore things up defensively.

  18. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Caroline Weir shows a lovely bit of skill - dragging the ball behind her. But as the ball ends up with Erin Cuthbert, Brazil's Maciel Mota floors her with a very untidy challenge, and rightly gets a yellow card for it.

  19. Post update

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Raquel Santos, who came on at the break for Brazil, takes the free-kick and it's a decent effort, but goalkeeper Lee Alexander saves it comfortably enough.

  20. DISALLOWED GOAL

    Scotland 1-0 Brazil

Brazil have the ball in the net. It appears to be ruled out for offside from a free-kick, but replays show it's a harsh call. A let off there for Scotland.

A minute later and Jo Love is caught in possession and then concedes a free-kick in a very dangerous position as she attempts to make amends, earning a yellow card for her troubles.
