'Difficult & disappointing'

Wolves defender Ryan Bennett: "It’s difficult. We had a lot of the ball. Their game plan was to sit behind the ball. We dominated the game but couldn’t get the ball in the back of the net.

"I’ve played for Chris [at Norwich], I know how he sets his teams up. It’s just disappointing that we couldn’t make our possession pay. They’re probably happy with a point."

'Good one week, shambles the next'

Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser: "That's our season summed up, we're good one week and then a shambles the next. It's really disappointing because we thought we started well and then we just crumbled.

"We started well and we had a couple of chances, probably should have scored, as usual we give away a stupid goal - everyone's to blame today.

"This is the most injuries I've ever seen at a club, not just small injuries but long-term injuries - I don't know why, it seems to be a lot.

"When we're good we always say 'let's back it up' and then we lose the next week, we need to get to grips with it.

"I think it's mentality, I think we go into games thinking it's too easy."

'We have to get better'

Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo: "The performance was good. I think we had a lot of chances. We didn't allow Brighton anything at all, but the ball wouldn’t go in. We have to get better for the next game.

"We had combinations, chances, crosses, but it’s difficult against a team who make things so crowded in the box. We played the way we know how to play. Today was not possible [to win the game] but I’m proud of the performance.

"It’s up to us to break them down. We must improve and be clinical."

'I want to build an identity'

Fulham interim boss Scott Parker, speaking to Match of the Day: "I asked the team if they can back up the performance (from last week) and the challenge was can we get the first away win and win two on the bounce - it was a fine performance last week and today was the same.

"We showed the quality we had. We have been in here now for six, seven weeks and have put in a lot of hard work, drilled the team as much as we can and tried to give a clear identity to the players.

"You need players who are receptive to that, the application every day has been first class. It doesn't surprise me we go and get two wins.

"I see a group of players here who have got quality."

On whether he will get the job full-time: "I am loving every minute, enjoying every bit of it. I am in a position where I am trying to do my best to set up a team that represents me, my staff - I am sure in the coming weeks we'll go into deeper conversations. My main aim was to get a togetherness back and then build an identity."

"In the 4-3-3 we started today, we were on the front foot against a team that are doing really well this season and we caused them problems and that's what we should take out of this game.

"We conceded too early and we know it's even harder to go. When you create so many chances against Watford who have a stable defence, it makes me proud.

"It's about taking chances which they did twice and it's hard to take."

Brighton manager Chris Hughton: "We asked the players for a response. It’s very hard to come here – if you open up too much they can hurt you. We probably could have been better in our link play, but we knew if we could keep a clean sheet it would give us a chance.

"The feeling in the changing room has been good. You don’t become a bad team overnight.

"We have a great group of supporters who travel in their thousands every game. There’s probably a little bit of relief. I’m not sure many people would have backed us to get any type of result, but we have.

"We’ve conceded a lot of goals and a lot of corners. They’ve got some aggressive players, so we had to defend really well."

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, speaking to Match of the Day: "We created enough chances to win the game but we obviously didn't take those. We were rocked with a couple of injuries, that's never easy to take.

"The effort was there but the quality wasn't there. We started well and I was really pleased, we looked clinical with our build-up play and our approach play was very good.

"This week is going to be tough with Southampton and Wolves.

"We know the FA Cup final is going to be tough against Manchester City but we did 10 months really well and we have to finish in the best way so we'll try to finish seventh."

Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan: "It means a lot in the context of things. It almost feels like three points. We have a superior goal difference to Cardiff - I think that could make the difference.

"We were looking for a reaction. To keep a clean sheet speaks volumes about the effort shown by the lads.

"The opposition had to work extra hard to create opportunities. I was able to get out quickly and spread myself [against Leander Dendoncker]. Credit to our defence and everyone else - our defence starts with our strikers.

"Every game’s a final. We need to leave everything out on the pitch. It’s one thing we’ve been guilty of recently. I guess we haven’t wanted it as much as the opposition, which is disappointing."

On the impact of substitute Harvey Barnes: "I took him out of the team because he has played a lot lately.

"He's a big talent and in time he is going to improve and get better. He's made a great run to get behind the defence and score. It's nice for him to celebrate in front of the supporters."

On Jamie Vardy's goal: "He a top-class striker and it was a great touch, a really good finish."

Huddersfield striker Elias Kachunga: "When you see the second half, we tried everything to come back. We conceded again too early.

"It was too easy and killed us again. It was a little bit hard after we conceded, especially in the second half. Everyone saw we did everything to come back.

"I think everyone wants to try and be professional. We know we're relegated so it's not easy for everyone.

"We have to go and win the next three games and give everything."

West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "I think we deserved more than a draw. We should have been leading 3-1 but it was a mistake of the linesman.

"Yes, I've seen the goal again and he was one metre onside.

"There is nothing you can do about that. Next season when we have VAR it can be more fair.

"We generally played well but you cannot concede two goals."

'Huddersfield made it difficult'

Watford boss Javi Gracia speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "First of all I would like to speak about Huddersfield. Credit to them, It is not easy to play in this situation after their relegation.

"They tried. They made it very difficult today and it was a close game. We conceded in the last minute and in my opinion we had control of the game but we needed to kill it before the end and we didn't.

"I think Gerard [Deulofeu] is showing his quality. He's scoring more goals for us but always showed what he is able to do.

"It's important for the team for our players to score goals for us."

Wilshere returns

West Ham United

One big positive for West Ham is the return of Jack Wilshere.

The former Arsenal midfielder came off the bench to make his first appearance since 1 December.

Meanwhile, Michail Antonio has just told TV that the Hammers are still chasing a top-seven finish.

They've got their work cut-out to achieve that. West Ham are six points off seventh with just three games left.
