  2. Can this side eliminate others?

England U17s have enjoyed significant success at major tournaments in the last decade with European Championship success in 2010 and 2014 and World Cup glory in 2017.

In 2010, the likes of Ross Barkley, Jack Butland & Wolves captain Conor Coady led the Three Lions to their first European Under-17 Championship title as they beat Spain 2-1 in Liechtenstein.

Four years later, Joe Gomez, Patrick Roberts and Dominic Solanke helped England beat the Netherlands 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Malta.

Things got even better for England as Steve Cooper's side, which included Phil Foden, Jadon Sancho & Callum Hudson-Odoi, beat Spain 5-2 to win the 2017 World Cup.
