  1. One more to come...

FT: Portsmouth 0-0 Sunderland (agg 0-1)

A place at Wembley is all that will matter to Sunderland - good job too because no one will remember this as a play-off classic.

That said the defensive display by the Black Cats was mightily impressive. They frustrated Pompey and are Wembley-bound at the end of May.

We will know if it's Charlton or Doncaster who will be joining the Black Cats in north London by the end of tomorrow night.

Thanks for joining us. Until tomorrow.

  2. Sunderland reach League One play-off final

FT: Portsmouth 0-0 Sunderland (agg 0-1)

If you're joining us late, Sunderland have moved a step closer to an immediate return to the Championship as they saw off Portsmouth to reach the League One play-off final.

After a goalless and fractious second leg, Chris Maguire's volley from the first leg at the Stadium of Light was enough to get them to Wembley.

Jamal Lowe has been lively since coming on for Portsmouth.

He jinks away down the right and the ball is worked into the box, forcing keeper Jon McLaughlin to come out and knock the ball away from danger.
