What a post-mortem this will be among the Barcelona chiefs.

Yes, they did win the title but there are so many questions to be asked following 'that' Champions League semi-final display and this performance in the Copa del Rey final.

    As for Valencia, congratulations.

Coach Marcelino García Toral had not won any of the previous 20 encounters against Barca, and now he has.

    Thanks for reading.

Carles Alena just passes the ball to the fella known as 'out of play'.

    Lionel Messi is not impressed.

    Two minutes plus stoppage left.

    Can you smell it Valencia?

  9. Post update

    Barcelona 1-2 Valencia

It's another corner for Barcelona. However, Valencia nullify the aerial threat of Gerard Pique.

Meanwhile, Francis Coquelin - remember him Arsenal fans? - makes a brilliant clean tackle on Lionel Messi.

Valencia now have a corner at the other end.

Valencia, after some time, have the ball in the Barca half.

  13. Post update

    Barcelona 0-2 Valencia

  17. Post update

    Barcelona 0-2 Valencia

The quiet Philippe Coutinho, who we are led to believe is still on the pitch, launches a shot from the left that keeper Jaume Domenech pats down.

There was very much a, "is that all you've got?" that was emitted from Domenech's head.

  18. Post update

    Barcelona 0-2 Valencia

Feel slightly bad about the last entry.

When Parejo slipped he seemed to hurt himself.

Er... now he's been taken off and replaced by Geoffrey Kondogbia.

The card is already in the post Dani.

  19. Post update

    Barcelona 0-2 Valencia

    Dani Parejo steps up.

    He looks focused.

    He runs towards the ball.

    He slips a little.

And fires the free-kick high and wide of Jasper Cillessen's goal.

Ten out of 10 for intent.

    Dani Parejo
  20. YELLOW CARD

    Barcelona 0-2 Valencia

The whistles from the Barcelona fans inside Estadio Benito Villamarin are getting louder.

They've just shown a shot of injured Barca man Luis Suarez in the crowd, who appears to be wearing his cap back to front.

    Thoughts?

Anyway, Sergio Busquets concedes a free-kick in a dangerous position after bringing down Rodrigo. Yellow for that.
