    England 2-0 Denmark

So the Lionesses' preparation for the World Cup in France continues with a 2-0 win over Denmark, but boss Phil Neville says he wants more from his side.

We're going to wrap things up, but we'll leave you with Jill Scott's superb second for England. Until next time...

  3. 'We have nothing to fear'

    England 2-0 Denmark

    BBC One

More from Phil Neville: "You would say the three best players were my goalkeeper Karen Bardsley, Jill Scott and Karen Carney - that's why I selected them, Carney went for the team in the huddle for giving too many corners away."

On England's second goal: "Nobody in world football would have marked Jill Scott there, she times her run so well."

On how prepared England are for the World Cup: "We are close, we know what we are going to do. There are a couple of players who are tired. The next game against New Zealand I will rotate again, my players were shattered, we have worked them hard.

"I am loving it. I want them to relax. I am relaxed, I am going to a World Cup and I want them to enjoy it. We have nothing to fear. The crowd and media are behind us, we are going into a major tournament as the best prepared team."

    Alex Scott

    Ex-England international on BBC One

I am disappointed with the performance from England. They were sloppy at times. However they got the win and that's the positive.

  5. 'I was bored in that first half'

    England 2-0 Denmark

    BBC One

England coach Phil Neville: "We were hard on them because we want the standard to be better than that, but we did take them camping on Wednesday night and they got one or two hours' sleep.

"It was sloppy, slow. I was bored watching it in the first half and I don't know what the supporters thought."

On the goal before half-time: "I wasn't bothered whether it went in because it didn't change my view.

"I would prefer us to lose and play better than we did in that first half. We left players isolated on the ball and didn't play the way I wanted us to play."

  6. 'We made it difficult for ourselves'

    England 2-0 Denmark

England's player of the match Beth Mead to BBC One: "We made it difficult for ourselves. It's not the best football we played but we were resilient today. We tucked away our chances but now we can improve.

"There are still players trying to work together. We have got to get used to each other and second half we improved a lot. We can continue to improve and hopefully take that into the tournament.

"We want more from each other and that's a good thing."

The positive is they won the game and haven't conceded. But they are going to have to be better in the World Cup opener against Scotland.

    Jayne Ludlow

Wales manager on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

The most important part of the game is a scoreline. England's players and staff will be extremely pleased with the result.

There have been things to be impressed about, some individuals, but there are some areas they need to tighten up on - wide defensive areas. The goal threat in numerous areas, the goals aren't coming from one player.

    And that's it.

England not at their best but still earn a comfortable victory.

A clean sheet would be something to hold to for England here because they have not been at their best. It will show that dogged side. That they can grind out a result because it has not been pretty.

Beth Mead is named player of the match - she looked really dangerous down both flanks before being given a well-earned rest by Phil Neville.

England are still pressing with plenty of energy, but the Danes keep the ball well. This one is petering out a bit in the final moments.

    England 2-0 Denmark

Good run from Pernille Harder, showing why she's rated as one of the best players in Europe, but the Wolfsburg forward scuffs her shot slightly after weaving away from several Lionesses defenders and Karen Bardsley collects.

It has been a very tidy performance from England goalkeeper Karen Bardsley here. She's commanded her box well, passed the ball tidily and done everything required.

  20. Post update

    England 2-0 Denmark

Half chance for the dangerous Pernille Harder, but it would have had to be some header to generate enough power to score from 12/13 yards out... England goalkeeper Karen Bardsley gathers comfortably.
