Madagascar had pushed up for a corner and are caught out. It's two against two in absolutely typical circumstances. A fine one though for Tunisia - substitute Sliti calmly chipping over Melvin.

I can't help but be sad for Madagascar given the great story that their journey this far has been, but they weren't up to it tonight.

Tunisia were professional, clinical and effective.

  3. Post update

    Madagascar 0-3 Tunisia

This is the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final line-up with both games on Sunday:

    SENEGAL v TUNISIA (17:00 BST)

    ALGERIA v NIGERIA (20:00)

Who's going to win the tournament?

  4. FULL-TIME

    Madagascar 0-3 Tunisia

Madagascar's dream is over. Tunisia march into the semi-finals...and a date with Senegal.

  5. GOAL - Madagascar 0-3 Tunisia

A dink over the keeper by substitute Naim Sliti and Tunisia are in the semi-finals!

It follows a counter-attack from Madagascar's corner - Wahbi Khazri feeding Sliti to score.

  6. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Madagascar have just won their first corner...in the 93rd minute!

  7. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

How many minutes of added time?

Four minutes for Madagascar to score two goals.

    Stranger things have happened!

  8. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

There's a Tunisia player down receiving treatment after another clumsy challenge. He's not in any immediate rush to get back up. This game is all but done and dusted.

  9. YELLOW CARD

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Anicet Abel picks up the game's first booking for a lunge on Taha Yassine Khenissi. The Madagascar player is too tired to argue with the referee.

  10. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

High and wide by Carolus Andriamatsinoro.

A tired shot if ever I saw one.

This has proved a bridge too far for Madagascar.

Let's be honest, the magnificent Madagascar myth is coming to an end here. Tunisia look totally different to the side that drew its way through four successive games.

  12. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Ibrahim Amada scored a scorcher against DR Congo and he is looking for a repeat against Tunisia as he lets fly from outside the area.

His wince tells its own story.

  13. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Time is running out but Madagascar are not done.

Carolus Andriamatsinoro looks to deliver a cross into Tunisia's penalty area but it comes off white shirt.

    Was that handball? Nothing given.

  14. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Whatever the result, this has been a magnificent two weeks for football in Madagascar.

They have added a touch of romance on their Africa Cup of Nations debut and done their country proud.

Will they make the 2021 edition?

  15. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

    A rare chance for Madagascar!

Carolus Andriamatsinoro, who has already scored a couple of goals at this tournament, is chasing a long punt forward but can't make it count and ends up in a heap inside Tunisia's penalty area.

The referee rightly waves play on.

  16. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Play is currently stopped while Melvin Adrien receives treatment on the pitch. The Madagascar keeper has been down for a couple of minutes but it looks as though he is going to be alright to continue.

  17. SUBSTITUTION

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

    Big change for Tunisia.

Youssef Msakni has been replaced by Naim Sliti.

Are they resting him for the semis? This game still has legs, surely?

  18. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

It's one-way traffic. Goalscorer Youssef Msakni is hauled down in full flight and it's a free-kick deep inside Madagascar's half.

  19. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Tunisia score again! Msakni pounces on a loose ball after Melvin saves but can't put it out of danger. Oh dear, it's all rather imploded for Madgascar.

  20. Post update

    Madagascar 0-2 Tunisia

Tunisia have not won a game in normal time in Egypt this summer.

They are well on their way here...
