  1. Here they come...

    Huddersfield v Fulham (19:45 BST)

The players walk out on to the pitch, with the rain having seemingly finally come to a halt. Kick-off is coming up in just a moment.

  2. How have they fared so far this term?

    Huddersfield v Fulham (19:45 BST)

Huddersfield began their campaign with a 2-1 home defeat against Debry, before drawing 1-1 at QPR last weekend and then being dumped out of the Carabao Cup by League One Lincoln.

Fulham were also beaten on the opening weekend, away at Barnsley, but they bounced back with a 2-0 win over Blackburn on 10 August.

The Londoners did not have an EFL Cup game, as they had a bye to the second round by virtue of finishing above the Terriers in the table last term.

  3. Terriers boss Siewert does not fear sack

    Huddersfield v Fulham (19:45 BST)

    Jan Siewert

Huddersfield Town boss Jan Siewert has said he does not fear for his position after their winless start to 2019-20 continued with an EFL Cup loss to Lincoln on Tuesday.

Speaking to BBC Radio Leeds, Siewert - whose side have won once in 18 games - said he had spoken with chairman Phil Hodgkinson about the club's situation.

"The chairman made it clear we have to stabilise ourselves in the league and that's the biggest aim," Siewert said.

Asked if he feared he would be given the sack just seven months after taking charge, Siewert replied: "No."

Earlier today, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard said social media companies need to do more to stop players being targeted after racial abuse aimed at striker Tammy Abraham.

The 21-year-old suffered the abuse after missing the decisive penalty in the Uefa Super Cup shootout defeat by Liverpool on Wednesday.

Chelsea have already condemned the "abhorrent posts" aimed at Abraham.
