And that's where we'll leave our coverage of that impressive win for Swansea.

Entertaining stuff from the hosts and they will most certainly be ones to watch throughout this season.

Birmingham meanwhile have got some things to think about there.

In the meantime, thanks for being with us and we'll be back with more from the EFL next weekend.

Swansea centre-back Mike van der Hoorn on Sky Sports:

"The boys did well and we try to compete every game. We're not looking forward too much, we enjoy each game and I think that works for us.

"Birmingham's set up wasn't easy to play against but before the game the manager had a plan and we had to patient, but the plan worked."

  4. Post update

Swansea go joint top with that win and next Saturday they will face Leeds in a tasty-looking game.

Here comes some reaction from the winners....

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Comprehensive win for Swansea as they dominate Birmingham in that second half.

    Impressive stuff from the hosts.

  6. Post update

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Andre Ayew goes looking for a fourth goal for Swansea.

Cuts back inside of the full-back and shoots but Lee Camp and Marc Roberts force it behind for a corner.

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Four minutes being added on at the end of 90....

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Ivan Sunjic in the book now for Birmingham as he hacks down George Byers on the left touchline.

    Frustration everywhere for Blues.

  9. Post update

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Swansea nearly punished by some sloppy clearances.

But Dan Crowley doesn't take full advantage for Birmingham when in space and his cross is finally booted away by Mike van der Hoorn.

  10. Post update

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Swansea manager Steve Cooper and Birmingham manager Pep Clotet

All the smiles on Swansea manager Steve Cooper's face now rather than his Birmingham City counterpart Pep Clotet.

A tough day at the office for Blues.

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

    Double sub for Swansea.

Bersant Celina replaced by Jordan Garrick in attack. Yan Dhanda goes off for George Byers.

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Yan Dhanda in the book for Swansea for tugging at the shirt of Ivan Sunjic.

  13. Post update

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Borja of Swansea City heads the ball towards the goal as Lee Camp of Birmingham saves

Borja Baston's been a handful for Birmingham to deal with this afternoon and he nearly got a goal here in the first half trying to nod one out of Lee Camp's grasp.

Another Swansea goal incidentally would put them top of the pile on goal difference above Leeds.

Those two meet in their next game as well. Tasty.

    Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

Three goals in 11 minutes conceded by Birmingham.

Here comes a double change for them as David Davis makes way for 16-year-old Jude Bellingham.

Steve Seddon is also replaced by Dan Crowley.

  15. GOAL: Swansea City 3-0 Birmingham City

    Borja Baston

No mistake from the spot from Borja Baston to make it 3-0.

Sends Lee Camp the wrong way and that is as good as that.

That's a fifth goal of the season already for Baston!

    Borja Baston

    Swansea City 2-0 Birmingham City

Could get worse for Birmingham City here...

Marc Roberts trips Yan Dhanda as he runs on to a lovely low ball from the right from Connor Roberts.

    Penalty given.

  17. Post update

    Swansea City 2-0 Birmingham City

    Andre Ayew

Swansea pressing once again as Andrew Ayew continues to make a nuisance.

His endeavours in the first half well and truly have set this up for Swansea to capitalise on mistakes in Birmingham's defence.

  18. Post update

    Swansea City 2-0 Birmingham City

Birmingham seemingly cooked now in this Sunday afternoon sun.

Swansea more than good value for their 2-0 lead.

  19. GOAL: Swansea City 2-0 Birmingham City

    Bersant Celina

    Get one. Get two!

Swansea well and truly in control now. Bersant Celina with a thundering goal to double the hosts' lead.

Mike van der Hoorn stole the ball in midfield initially off Francisco Vilalba before threading it to Celina to run on to from the left.

His left-foot strike hits the roof of the net and Swansea seem set to go joint top!

    Bersant Celina
  20. Post update

    Swansea City 1-0 Birmingham City

Home crowd enjoyed that strike from Kyle Naughton for sure and they've upped the volume a touch now.

What have Birmingham got by way of a response now?
