  1. 'He got injured in training'

    Tottenham v Man Utd (12:30 BST)

    Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on pre-season: “We've performed well, we've had some good results and the whole pre-season so far has been encouraging. But it's not about winning games in pre-season.

    “It's about finding a way that we want to play, about the team gelling and getting to the starting line with as many players as possible in as good a shape as possible.”

    Solskjaer on Lukaku: "He has been working with the physios the last few days. He got injured in training, so he had to stay here. If it was worse, we would have sent him home, but he's been working with the physios in the gym and stuff."

    Tottenham's new record £65m signing Tanguy Ndombele is handed his first start under Mauricio Pochettino in midfield.

    He's joined in the starting XI by Harry Kane and Dele Alli, but Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Christian Eriksen are all on the bench.

    Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named new signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the starting XI alongside big stars Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and David de Gea.

    Youngsters Daniel James and Mason Greenwood are also in the side. While Marcos Rojo, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira are given a chance to impress.

    Striker Romelu Lukaku, who has been injured, is again absent from the squad. There's plenty of transfer speculation surrounding the Belgian at the moment too.

    Tottenham v Man Utd (12:30 BST)

    European runners-up Tottenham are back in action today in their latest pre-season match and they take on Premier League rivals Manchester United.

    The two teams are going head-to-head in the International Champions Cup at the Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai, China.

    Spurs won their last outing against Juventus in thrilling style, while United have three wins from three so far on their tours of Asia and Australia.

    The stadium they are playing in today was one of the first built in China and has a maximum capacity of 33,060.
