  1. 'It shows we have commitment'

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff: "That is massive, it is a massive three points. We are buzzing to get the result and now it's time to push on."

About the criticism from fans: "In Newcastle everything gets blown out of proportion a bit. There has been a lot of complaints about us as a team and the management but today's result just shows what sort of team we are and the commitment we have going forwards.

"It’s a tough time but you can see that the away ends are always packed, you see how many people are there and they are a massive part of the club."

  3. 'Tottenham didn't know how to break them down'

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

    Jermaine Jenas

Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

They had no ideas on how to break down Newcastle. When you are so dominant in possession, they should not be losing the game. But fair play to Newcastle, that was a fantastic performance , they thoroughly deserved their 1-0 win, they were superb. It is huge for Steve Bruce. This man really understands the football club. As much as he is proud of the players, he has a calm and experienced head on his shoulders. He knows it’s a huge step in the right direction.

  4. Post update

    FT: Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

What a huge result for Newcastle. Their defence was outstanding today and Steve Bruce will be going home a happy man.

As for Tottenham, all that hard work at the Etihad last weekend is likely to be forgotten with that lacklustre performance.

  5. Post update

    FT: Wolves 1-1 Burnley

Ashley Barnes looks gutted as he walks over to the travelling fans to applaud them. Meanwhile, Wolves fans are in party mode.

That late equaliser has certainly given them something to celebrate but it took Wolves around 80 minutes to record a shot on target.

  6. Post update

That late equaliser from Raul Jimenez means only seven away teams won this weekend and not the eight had Burnley held on.

Liverpool, Aston Villa and now Wolves were the only three home sides not to suffer defeat.

  7. FULL-TIME

    Wolves 1-1 Burnley

Nope. It's all over at Molineux. Disappointment for Burnley.

  10. GOAL - Wolves 1-1 Burnley

    Raul Jimenez

    Cool as you like.

The Mexican hesitates before slotting it past the keeper, who had moved the wrong way.

  13. PENALTY - WOLVES

    Wolves 0-1 Burnley

Erik Pieters appeared to clip Raul Jimenez in the box.

  14. CLOSE!

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

Moussa Sissoko drills a cross in from the right and Harry Kane, of all people, scuffs his shot in the centre.

  15. 'Tottenham aren't at their usual standard'

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

    Jermaine Jenas

Ex-Tottenham and Newcastle midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

They haven't been anywhere near there standard since the start of the season. I can think of only half an hour against Aston Villa where they looked like themselves. They were lucky to get anything out of Man City and they would be lucky if they get anything today. They have been one step behind all game.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Wolves 0-1 Burnley

Raul Jimenez is almost the hero. What a goal this would have been too! He controls a cross from the right, turns and flicks it over a defender's head before volleying it towards the bottom left corner.

It bounces off the post and is cleared in the nick of time!

  17. INJURY TIME

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

Six minutes at Tottenham. Newcastle are defending for their lives at the moment!

  18. INJURY TIME

    Wolves 0-1 Burnley

Five minutes for Wolves to find an equaliser...

Darren Bell: Trouble with Spurs this season 1) No creativity if Eriksen doesn't play 2) Not good enough defensively if Vertonghen doesn't play 3) Basing tactics on Kane. Even though he scored 2 goals v Villa, Kane has done nothing in 3 games. Put him on the bench after Arsenal.

  20. Post update

    Tottenham 0-1 Newcastle

Spurs are throwing everything at it. They almost get caught on the break as Davinson Sanchez appears to bundle Yoshinori Muto to the floor.

The substitute isn't happy but the referee waves it on.
