So that's enough transfer chatter from me for today. Thanks for joining us for all the latest news and speculation as we moved a step closer to deadline day.

Most of the talk has been around the future of Gareth Bale and Wilfried Zaha. Here's the latest we have on Real Madrid blocking Bale's move to China.

SMS Message: I don't think for 1 minute Utd are remotely interested in signing Bale. Sadly for him his best days are behind him and he's incredibly injury prone. He's always been one of those players that if he has the slightest niggle he's happy not to play. from Shaun, Dronfield

  5. Lukaku given four days off to complete move

    The Daily Express

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to have given striker Romelu Lukaku four days off to finalise a move to either Inter Milan or Juventus.

Solskjaer has left the Belgian out of his squad for United's friendly against Kristiansund.

SMS Message: A logical move for Real & Man Utd would be to swap Bale for Sanchez. Both are on similar wages and neither is part of their respective managers plans: loan for each player for two years and then they are not exorbitant priced. Looks very plausible to me. from Pankaj, Hertfordshire

  7. 'The club must let him go' - Verratti

PSG midfielder Marco Verratti has also had his say on the transfer saga surrounding team-mate Neymar, telling RMC Sport that "when a player really wants to leave, the club must let him go".

  8. PSG 'egos' not easy for the team - Draxler

Neymar may have belatedly rejoined the Paris St-Germain squad this summer but team-mate Julian Draxler has said that the "egos" of some PSG players mean that "it is not easy for the whole team."

  9. Everton make £55m bid for Zaha

As well as their interest in Moise Kean, Everton have made a £55m bid to sign winger Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, according to Sky Sports.

  10. Lukaku left out of Man Utd squad

    Manchester United

    Romelu Lukaku

Like Neymar, Romelu Lukaku has also been left out of his side's squad for their latest friendly.

The Inter Milan target won't be travelling to Norway for Manchester United's game against Kristiansund on Tuesday having been left out of the 26-man squad.

  11. Everton continue Kean talks with Juve

SMS Message: As an Everton season ticket holder I am gutted to see Gueye leave the club. After Kante he is the best in the Premier League in that position and the statistics back that up. It's a huge mistake to let him go at less than £30m especially when you see what other clubs are asking for players with lesser ability. from Jeff, Liverpool

  13. Barca yet to agree Neymar fee

Neymar has made it clear he wants to return to Barcelona this summer but they are yet to agree a fee with PSG for the Brazil forward.

Mundo Deportivo reporter Francesc Aguilar tweeted: "The Neymar theme remains the same. A lot of smoke on both sides. Barca continues to work, without rest, to sign him and PSG to transfer him. But they don't find the agreement. The economic issue is what separates them."

  14. Neymar not in PSG squad for friendly

    Neymar

Neymar has not been named in Paris St-Germain's squad for their friendly against Sydney FC in Suzhou, China.

A club statement read: "As planned, Presnel Kimpembe and Neymar Jr have remained at the team's base camp in Shenzhen to continue their daily individual training sessions in the gym and on the football pitch. Marco Verratti will also be rested with a thigh strain."

Steve: Strange Bale v ZZ v RM story that came up after the defeat to Atletico. Wonder if ZZ is at more risk of being shown the door than Bale is?

Mic Medeska: Surprised United don’t go in on Bale. Unlike Sanchez, Fred, Falcao, he actually fits the style United want to play. Strange to court him for years then cool on him once he’s available.

  16. Caicedo to join Leeds?

Lazio's Felipe Caicedo has hinted he could be joining Leeds after a cryptic tweet on Sunday.

The former Manchester City striker had already been linked with the Championship side this summer before tweeting 'El locooo', which is the nickname of Leeds' Argentine boss Marcelo Bielsa.

  17. Bale deal cannot be revived

Chinese state media have reported that any chance of Gareth Bale joining Jiangsu Suning is definitely over after the Chinese club instead signed Ivan Santini from Anderlecht on Monday.

The Chinese Super League limits the number of foreign players each team can have and Jiangsu reached their quota by signing the Croatian striker.

The Chinese transfer window closes on Wednesday.

  18. Marcotti unsure about Man Utd agreeing Milinkovic-Savic deal

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's agent is reportedly flying to London to complete a move to Manchester United but ESPN's Gabrielle Marcotti is unsure if they are prepared to match Lazio’s asking price of around £70m and said that if United were desperate to sign the Serbia midfielder then a deal would have been done already.
