  1. Deadline Day plans...

So tomorrow is the big day. 17:00 BST is the deadline for Premier League and Championship clubs.

You can follow all of the transfer developments across the BBC Sport website. A live text will kick-off from 07:00 BST with Gary Rose and I'll be taking it over the finish line.

We'll keep it open for all the reaction too - there's always a few deals which trickle through past the deadline as well.

There will be updates from our correspondents, including Simon Stone, Ian Dennis and David Ornstein, on the biggest Premier League deals.

Jo Currie and Tom Garry will be on hand to provide any information on Women's Super League signings.

Our BBC Sport and Match of the Day Twitter accounts will keep you updated with breaking news and you can follow the trending stories on our Instagram page.

  2. Post update

That's all from me today but I'll leave you with some information on how you can follow transfer deadline day on the BBC.

As a basic rule, just keep an eye on the BBC football index for all the latest developments. And a list of all the summer transfers can be found here.

  3. If you missed it earlier...

Tottenham have ended their interest in Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho.

Spurs had been considering a loan move for the 27-year-old Brazilian, who joined Barca from Liverpool in a deal worth £142m in January 2018.

Coutinho worked with Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino during a loan spell with Espanyol in 2012.

    Read more on that here.

  4. Post update

Latest update from The Athletic's James Pearce on Liverpool forward Xherdan Shaqiri.

"Been told there's zero chance of Liverpool offloading him."

  5. Get Involved - £140m, who would you buy?

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

Samitch82: With £140m, I would love to see Liverpool sign Eriksen and Lacazette.

Evan Wallace: NUFC supporter here. With 140M any quality signing would do. Dream would be Tierney (25M), Sessegnon (50M) Koors (65M).

  6. Post update

Here's a reminder of the deadlines across Europe...

    England: 8 August, 17:00 BST

Scotland, English League One, English League Two: 2 September, Midnight

Spain, France and Germany: 2 September

    Italy: 23 August

For more information on this, click here.

  7. Quiz time!

The battle for the Premier League golden boot was a closely fought one last season, with three players having to share the coveted prize.

The trio all hit 22 goals each, while there were 15 players who scored 13 goals or more in the 2018-19 campaign.

Can you name them all? You've got three minutes to have a crack.

  8. Get Involved - £140m, what would you buy?

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

Keith Chapman: £140m. Salford fan so I'd say McTominay, Vardy, Sancho and Nelson. Save some cash obviously!

Inmyopinion: Arsenal: 72mil on pepe and 68mil on any other defender in world football...

  9. Rooney's number 32

Wayne Rooney will wear the number 32 on the back of his shirt when he joins Derby County, which has raised questions about the "ethical issue" football has with gambling.

    More on that here.

  10. Arsenal considering Luiz

    David Ornstein

    BBC Sport correspondent

A move for Chelsea defender David Luiz is one of the deals Arsenal are working on to fulfill their aim of signing a centre-back.

  11. Get Involved - £140m, who would you buy?

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

River End Norwich: I'd love to get some Germans in for Norwich - say Gnabry and Hummels, leave the rest of the money to genius Stewart Webber. Coutinho wouldn't go a miss though...

Ian Boal: As a Liverpool fan I'd either like us to go for Coutinho on a loan with a view to sign or Dybala. Would be hard to fit them in the team but would be great additions to our squad!

  12. Everything you need to know...

    Transfer Deadline Day

Premier League transfer spending could drop for the second summer in a row - unless there are some big signings on Thursday's transfer deadline day.

English top-flight clubs have spent just over £1bn this summer, short of last year's £1.2bn and 2017's £1.4bn.

The deadline for Championship clubs is also tomorrow, but teams from Leagues One and Two, Scotland and across Europe can buy players until 2 September.

Ten Premier League clubs have broken their transfer records this summer.

Read more on what we can expect tomorrow, here.

  13. Get Involved - £140m, who would you buy?

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

Vishnu Ladwa: I’d sell Mustafi and with £140m I’d buy Rugani and Upamecano. With the approx £27m from Mustafi’s sale, use it to get Coutinho on loan for the season.

Andrew Neill: As an NUFC fan I would sign Tierney (£25m), Strootman (£15m) and Aubamayang (c.£100m).

Dominic Carter: As a Chelsea fan, I suppose I'd find the best high interest savings account that could hold 140 mill.

  14. 'It is a dream'

    Norwich City new signing

    Norwich City

Norwich City new signing Ibrahim Amadou: "It is a dream to play in the Premier League. I had interest from clubs in other countries, but my priority was to play in the Premier League."

Amadou joins the Canaries after a year at La Liga side Sevilla, where he made 29 appearances in all competitions last season.

Daniel Nulty: Everton bonkers if they sign Iwobi. Hopefully it has had the desired effect with Zaha transfer request speeding it along?!

  16. Norwich sign Amadou

    Norwich City

Norwich made their fifth signing of the summer by bringing in Sevilla's Ibrahim Amadou on a season-long loan, with an option to buy, earlier today.

The defensive midfielder, 26, joins fellow loanees, winger Patrick Roberts and goalkeeper Ralf Fahrmann.

Josip Drmic also arrived at Carrow Road on a free transfer, while right-back Sam Byram signed from West Ham for £750k on a four-year deal in July.

  17. Get Involved - £140m, who would you buy?

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

Shall we have some fun? You've got £140m to spend - that's the total Manchester United have splashed so far.

Which players would you bring in? Are you a Norwich City fan desperate for a bit of Philippe Coutinho? Or a Crystal Palace fan eyeing up Gareth Bale as a Wilfried Zaha replacement?

Send in your suggestions and don't forget, you need to include the club you support!
