  1. Late drama as Lillywhites go second

That's your lot from us in here on a day with more than its share of late drama.

Preston battled back from two goals down to claim a 3-2 Lancashire derby win over Blackburn thanks to Tom Barkhuizen's 82nd minute strike and they now sit second in the table.

At the bottom, Middlesbrough could only draw with 10-man Fulham and that, coupled with Huddersfield's 2-1 win over bottom side Barnsley, means they are now in the relegation zone.

We're back with more EFL live text coverage tomorrow with the little matter of the derby between Swansea and Cardiff from 11:30 GMT, with the game kicking off at 12:00 GMT, before Bristol City v Wigan at 13:30 GMT.

Until then enjoy the rest of your evening and thanks for your company.

    Birmingham 2-1 Luton

Blues' decent home record continues with a seventh win in nine games but they had to work hard for this one.

Kristian Pedersen's header gave them the lead with the final touch of the first-half but Harry Cornick scored a rocket that went in off the underside of the bar to equalise for Luton.

Birmingham kept on going though and turned to their target man Lukas Jutkiewicz to to head in a late winner.

    Middlesbrough 0-0 Fulham

A decent point for Fulham who played with 10 men for 70 minutes after keeper Marek Rodak was shown a red card for a hand ball outside of the box.

Both sides had chances with Lewis Wing's free-kick hitting the post for Boro and Aleksandar Mitrovic heading over from six-yards who really should have scored.
