  1. Over and out from Oakwell

    Adam Murray and Barnsley players

That is it for our live text coverage of tonight's Championship game.

Barnsley showed they are up for the fight, while Bristol City were left thinking of what might have been after conceding that late equaliser.

It will be a long journey back to the south west for Lee Johnson and his players.

The second-tier action continues tomorrow with nine fixtures, along with a full programme in League One and League Two.

Do join us for those games but until then, goodbye.

  2. Barnsley comeback shocks Robins

    FT: Barnsley 2-2 Bristol City

If you are just joining us, Barnsley came from 2-0 down to salvage a point at home against Bristol City,

The Tykes had been looking like they were heading for defeat after goals from Ashley Williams and Andreas Weimann put the Robins in control.

But Aapo Halme pulled one back with a header before Cauley Woodrow levelled it in the 94th minute.

  3. Tykes move off bottom

    FT: Barnsley 2-2 Bristol City

At the other end of the table, a point takes Barnsley off the foot of the second tier.

The Tykes are now winless in 14 league games - but have now drawn three of their past four.

Those points came from games against top-six trio Swansea, West Brom and now Bristol City.

They may be three points from safety and still have the worst goal difference in the division, but there are one or two green shoots of recovery under caretaker boss Adam Murray

Bottom club Stoke host the Baggies on Monday evening.

  4. Robins rue missed opportunity

    FT: Barnsley 2-2 Bristol City

Here's what that late goal has done to the top of the Championship.

Bristol City could have gone second in the table, but have to settle for moving up one spot.

With six teams within three points of them, the Robins are unlikely to end the weekend in the play-off places.

  5. 'Not a bad result' for Tykes

    FT: Barnsley 2-2 Bristol City

Quote Message: We are fighting for our lives while they are pushing for promotion. We knew if we stuck at it we would have a chance. We need wins, but that is not a bad result after being 2-0 down. Adam Murray has been a breath of fresh air, and long may it continue. from Cauley Woodrow Barnsley striker on Sky Sports

    That's it.

  7. GOAL: Barnsley 2-2 Bristol City

    Cauley Woodrow

    Cauley Woodrow scores

    They've done it!!!

There is some good play to create the opportunity and the eventual outcome is a bit scrappy - but the outcome is an equaliser!

A smart one-two from Toby Sibbick and Elliot Simoes sets up a cut-back from inside the Robins area.

The initial effort from Patrick Schmidt is scuffed goalwards but Cauley Woodrow is there to stab home from close range for the Tykes.

    Bristol City are shell-shocked.

Daniel Bentley punches away a Tykes corner - the hosts are piling on the pressure.

Alex Mowatt regains the ball and stands up a cross to the back post.

Bambo Diaby is there - but has jumped too early and can't get over the ball.

He heads behind for a goal-kick to the Robins. Is there time for one more chance?

  10. Post update

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

Dimitri Cavare gets into the Bristol City box and pops a call across.

But it is behind Cauley Woodrow and the striker can't get enough power on his effort.

A team-mate behind him might have been better placed.

We are into four minutes of added time.

  11. Post update

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

The corner is a decent delivery towards the back stick, but somehow drops between two Tykes players.

They left it to one another and the chance goes - they should have got an effort on target at the very least.

  12. Post update

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

Luke Thomas puts in a dangerous cross, which is headed clear by Robins centre-back Nathan Baker.

Thomas then wins another corner on the left.

  13. Post update

  14. Post update

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

    Barnsley v Bristol City

Two minutes left - plus stoppages - for the Tykes to grab an equaliser.

Bristol City will go second in the Championship if they can hang on.

Antonie Semenyo heads to the corner for the Robins, and then Bambo Diaby shows his frustration with the City forward after winning a throw-in.

  15. Post update

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

Bristol City keeper Daniel Bentley claims a cross from the left and then takes his time with his distribution.

Callum O'Dowda goes down in the box after a challenge from Alex Mowatt, but there are no appeals for a penalty from the visitors.

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

There is a bit of shoving and joshing after Barnsley skipper Alex Mowatt fouls Robins midfielder Han-Noah Massengo.

The young City man is on the floor clutching his crotch.

Luke Thomas goes into the book for a kick out at Massengo which preceded Mowatt's challenge, which was quite fierce.

Mowatt seems like he's got away with one there.

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

A final change for the hosts, as Elliot Simoes replaces Jacob Brown.

  18. Post update

    Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

Aapo Halme has his tail up and tries an effort from about 35 yards out.

It strikes a Robins man and the visitors regain the ball and have an opportunity to take a bit of the sting out of the game.

  19. GOAL: Barnsley 1-2 Bristol City

    Aapo Halme

Barnsley are back in the game, and it's from a corner.

Up from the back, Aapo Halme meets the delivery from Alex Mowatt from the left with a powerful header.

There is nothing Daniel Bentley could do about that one.

That gives the Tykes some hope of salvaging a point...
