  1. All over for today

Charlton v Preston (Sunday, 12:00 GMT)

    Alex Neil

That is it for our live text coverage of today's EFL action.

The lead at the top of the Championship has changed hands twice this afternoon, and it could happen again tomorrow.

Fourth-placed Preston North End head to Charlton knowing that a win would see them go first in the division.

It could be an interesting encounter after the Lilywhites told Stoke City in no uncertain terms that Alex Neil will remain at Deepdale.

Join us for that one and, until the next time, goodbye.

  2. Royals rise as Boro stay in bottom three

    Bottom six

And here's how the bottom of the Championship looks, after Reading's win over Millwall moves the Royals three points clear of the drop zone, above Luton and Wigan who have both lost 2-1 at home today.

Middlesbrough's poor form continues and they remain in 22nd, winless in eight league games.

Bottom side Stoke host high-flying West Brom on Monday night.

  3. Leeds march on into first

Here's what today's results have done to the top of the second tier.

Swansea went first after beating Wigan in the early kick-off but Leeds replaced them after Marcelo Bielsa's side beat QPR.

Preston can go top themselves if they win at Charlton Athletic tomorrow lunchtime - that's if manager Alex Neil and his players have been unaffected by all the chat linking him with the Stoke job.

West Brom have to wait until Monday to see if they can go back to the summit.

    Top six

It's all a lot simpler at the bottom though...

  19. RED CARD (Dean, Birmingham)

    Cardiff 3-2 Birmingham

Birmingham captain Harlee Dean is off and that might be the game up for the visitors. It's an elbow on Joe Ralls. What a way to halt your side's hopes of a late comeback.

  20. Post update

    Reading 2-1 Millwall

Into six minutes of added time, Lions striker Jon Dadi Bodvarsson sends an overhead kick narrowly wide of the Reading goal.
