  1. Goodbye

    Cheltenham celebrate

Catch up with all of tonight's first-round replay reports on our FA Cup page, where overnight we'll be adding video highlights of Tuesday's main action.

We're back for more live text coverage of four more replays in the first round on Wednesday from 19:15 GMT. Hope you can join us again.

    Bye for now.

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

And Sunderland run out of time and lose a shocker of a game.

An extra-time goal by Brandon Hanlan is enough for Gillingham, who face Doncaster Rovers in round two.

  3. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

Just seconds left for Sunderland to level things.

  4. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

Two additional minutes remain at Priestfield. Sunderland have a throw-in, in Gillingham territory. But keeper Jack Bonham claims with ease and hacks it downfield.

  5. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

A minute plus stoppage time in extra-time to play.

Gillingham are having very little trouble keeping it at 1-0 at the moment.

  6. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

    What have Sunderland got left?

Can they force penalties? Doncaster, who beat AFC Wimbledon in their first-round replay earlier today, await the winners in round two.

  7. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

    Sunderland are threatening at last.

Aiden McGeady tries to pick out to Laurens De Bock in the middle but makes a hash of it. It's been a really poor attacking display by the Black Cats. There's no escaping that. Less than five to go.

  8. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

There's been a bit of hold up while Brandon Hanlan is treated for Gillingham.

We will have added time to the extra time. At least a couple of minutes.

Sunderland bring on Lee Connelly for Will Grigg.

  9. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

Long way to go on a Tuesday night so full credit!

A home tie against Doncaster awaits the winners in round two - which looks like being Gillingham after that Brandon Hanlan goal.

  10. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

Gillingham are holding on without too much alarm and have just gone close to a second after some pretty poor defending by Sunderland.

Goalscorer Brandon Hanlan cannot get on the end of a teasing cross and has hurt himself as he slid into at the back post.

  11. Post update

    Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

And we are back under way in the second half of extra-time. Can Sunderland respond?

It's been a woeful game so far. But Gillingham were rewarded for some decent pressure in the extra period.

  12. GOAL: Gillingham 1-0 Sunderland

    Brandon Hanlan (104 mins)

Brandon Hanlan shows some quality in a game sadly lacking it, controlling the ball well and smashing it home with his right foot.

And that's time up for the first period of extra-time.

    Fifteen minutes left at Priestfield.

    Gillingham 0-0 Sunderland

The nearest we have come to a goal by a long shot.

Gillingham captain Max Ehmer shows quick feet in the box but fires his effort against the bar.

  14. Post update

    Gillingham 0-0 Sunderland

    Hang on. Excitement.

A penalty appeal for the home side. Steve Evans is convinced Brandon Taylor was guilty of handball in the box and is still raging. The Gills boss is not normally one for remaining calm, so we can't read too much into his reaction.

  15. Post update

    Gillingham 0-0 Sunderland

Still scoreless between these two sides at Priestfield as we near the end of the first period of extra time.

No shot on target so far as we approach the 100th minute. Not much more to add.

    Peterborough 2-0 Stevenage

Mo Eisa's 11th-minute strike and Ricky Jade-Jones' late goal send Peterborough through.

Posh face Dover in round two.

  17. GOAL: Peterborough 2-0 Stevenage

    Ricky Jade-Jones (90+4 mins)

That's that. Ricky Jade-Jones seals the win four minutes into stoppage time.

    Doncaster 2-0 AFC Wimbledon

James Coppinger and Rakish Bingham's goals gift Doncaster a comfortable pathway through to round two of this season's FA Cup.

    Bromley 0-1 Bristol Rovers

It's all over. Bristol Rovers hang on to set up a second-round tie against Plymouth Argyle in round two.

Michael Cheek had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside for the hosts meaning Jonson Clarke-Harris settles a lively match.

    Rochdale 1-0 Wrexham

Paul McShane's eighth-minute goal is all that separates these two sides and Rochdale are through to the FA Cup second round at the expense of Wrexham.
