    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

Splendid scenes as Liverpool's players part into two lines to clap through third-placed Monterrey on the way to collecting their medals.

The only sour note in Liverpool's night is the sight of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in crutches after appearing to injure his ankle in the second half.

    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

While our coverage on BBC One has now finished, a reminder you can still watch Liverpool lift the trophy by clicking the icon on this page.

  10. Liverpool win Club World Cup

    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

Former Brazil (and, less successfully, QPR) keeper Julio Cesar is the man trusted to bring out the Club World Cup bling. If you want anyone to carry the trophy out then it is a goalie. Safe hands.

  11. 'Now they've won the lot'

    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

    Danny Murphy

Former Liverpool and England midfielder on BBC One

It was the trophy Liverpool was missing. They have been a successful club for many years and now they've won the lot.

  12. Liverpool win Club World Cup

    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

    Danny Murphy

Former Liverpool and England midfielder on BBC One

They deserved it. They were the better team and they had the better legs as the game went on and it was a great goal. Liverpool continually get results not always playing the free-flowing football we expect.

  19. 'Should do better'

    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

    Stephen Warnock

    Ex-Liverpool defender on BBC One

That was the first real passage of play Flamengo had put together. He was leaning back and not quite set himself to get the shot away. Should do better.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    Liverpool 1-0 Flamengo

Not too much stoppage time to be played. Two minutes to be exact. Liverpool waste some vital seconds by taking off Mohamed Salah. Incoming is Xherdan Shaqiri.
