Just a bit of house-keeping to finish off with. Stuart Armstrong was booked for over-celebrating that goal while Villa midfielder Jack Grealish was also shown a yellow card, for dissent.

Saints break, with Pepe Reina out of goal, and Stuart Armstrong charges onto Che Adams' long ball to slide the ball into an empty net and seal victory for the hosts.

Shane Long chases a long ball and Pepe Reina comes out of his box to clear but he doesn't make proper contact with his header and brings down Long as he tries to recover.

That's a booking for the former Liverpool keeper.

Ryan Bertrand tries his luck from distance and it takes a slight deflection on its way through to Villa keeper Pepe Reina, who makes a comfortable save.

The hosts are preparing to make a double substitution.

Mbwana Samatta has a shot blocked for a Villa corner, which is easily dealt with by the hosts.
