  1. Please come again tomorrow...

    FT: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Thanks for your company tonight here on the BBC Sport website and app. We'll see you again tomorrow when we'll have a huge sporting offering for you once again, from the Test match, to Arsenal v Sheffield United, to Oldham v Carlisle, to European rugby... The list goes on.

This evening's football south of the border saw Fulham close the gap on the Championship's top two.

    Have a nice weekend. Cheers.

  2. Coming up this weekend

We've got some big games in the Championship tomorrow, starting with QPR v Leeds in the early kick-off from 12:30 GMT, before a busy programme across the divisions.

The EFL action continues on Sunday when Nottingham Forest host Luton [12:00 GMT] and then wraps up after a long weekend when West Brom host Stoke on Monday night [20:00].

  3. How the table stands

    FT: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

It's a case of 'as you were' for Middlesbrough in the table, as they stay 16th after their first league loss in six games since 14 December.

  4. FT: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Top six

Here's what Fulham's win has done to the top of the Championship table. Brentford will resume third spot if they win at Huddersfield tomorrow.

  5. 10 teams still in race for top two - Knockaert

    FT: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham's match-winner Anthony Knockaert adds to Sky Sports: "It was important for us to start well and we did. Unfortunately we couldn't score another one. In the first half we deserved to score another one.

"It was a tough second half but it was important to get the result.

"Even the team that is 10th in the league at the moment can still go up with automatic promotion. We know what it takes to win promotion."

  6. Reaction as Fulham got third

    FT: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham's Michael Hector tells Sky Sports:

"We got stuck in, we dug in and we got the three points. That's all that matters."

  7. FT: Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

It was a lot tenser in the closing stages than we thought it was going to be after Fulham's domination of the opening 25 minutes, but ultimately, Boro could not create a good enough chance to force an equaliser.

Fulham have won three games in a row in all competitions and they're up to third in the table.

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Fulham goal

That's it. Fulham get the three points!

  9. CLOSE!

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Michael Hector has been immense for the hosts in these closing stages. This time he diverts Djed Spence's dangerous cross behind.

  10. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Time is running out rapidly for Middlesbrough and they've still not registered a single shot on target in this entire game.

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham goalscorer Anthony Knockaert goes off to warm applause. His early goal still separates these sides.

He's holding his hamstring a little as he goes off. The home fans will hope that's nothing to worry about.

Centre-back Alfie Mawson comes on, as Scott Parker throws on an extra defender.

  12. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Fulham defender Michael Hector does well to block a shot from Boro substitute Ashley Fletcher on the edge of the box.

Now the hosts will wind down the clock with a substitution.

  13. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

    Fulham v Boro

Five minutes have been added on. FIVE. How are your nerves, Fulham fans?

    Boro are going for it...

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

The Boro fans are unhappy as Rudy Gestede goes down in the Fulham area under a challenge from Michael Hector, but it's not a penalty. Replays show that Hector got the ball.

  15. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Denis Odoi celebrates what was a disallowed goal

Denis Odoi certainly was head over heels when he thought he had added a second for Fulham! His 73rd-minute effort was ruled out for offside.

There's still time for a twist in this tale. Will the hosts have their night turned on its head late on?

  16. Good save

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Boro's Paddy McNair whips in a free-kick from the left flank with his right foot and aims it towards the back post. Inadvertently, he almost finds the goal himself, but Fulham's backtracking keeper Marek Rodak gets a good hand to the ball to tip it over for a corner.

  17. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Whatever happens in these final five minutes plus stoppage time, Boro boss Jonathan Woodgate will be pleased with how his side have improved since the break.

At one point mid-way through the first half, it genuinely felt as though Fulham could win this game by a 4-0 or 5-0 margin, they were so dominant. The visitors have made things a lot more difficult for Fulham since then.

  18. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Winger Anthony Knockaert orchestrates another lovely move from Fulham down their right but, with the half-volley at goal in the middle of the box, Harry Arter's goal-bound strike is well blocked.

    Fulham v Boro

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

First, Fulham replace Josh Onomah with Harry Arter in midfield. Then Boro make two changes, as Adam Clayton and George Saville go off. Ashley Fletcher and Lukas Nmecha come on.

We've got just over 10 minutes to go...

  20. Post update

    Fulham 1-0 Middlesbrough

Joe Bryan picks out his former Bristol City team-mate Bobby Decordova-Reid down the left with a terrific through ball but the lively forward's effort is deflected wide.
