She gets the congratulations from her team-mates as the visitors celebrate.

    Liverpool goalkeeper saves

Liverpool get their first WSL win of the campaign - they're off the bottom!

Bristol City slip to the foot of the table instead.

How pivotal could this result be in the relegation battle?

  5. Post update

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool's last league win came way back on 11 May last season.

They've got just seconds left to hold on to finally break their duck for this term.

  6. Post update

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool defend the corner well and time is really running out for Bristol City now.

  7. Post update

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

The crowd at the Stoke Gifford Stadium is confirmed as 1,007 but the majority of them will be going home disappointed at the result, unless the hosts can produce late drama.

As we enter the first of five minutes of stoppage time, the visitors' Anke Preuss makes a good save with her feet. Corner.

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool are inches from sealing it but Rachel Furness' magnificent effort from 25 to 30 yards bounces down off the underside of the crossbar, off the line and away.

    That was some strike.

  9. SUBSTITUTION (Bristol City)

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

After a long pause for treatment, Bristol City's Meaghen Sargeant goes off and on comes Katie Robinson for the final five minutes.

The hosts desperately need a goal.

  10. Lehmann completes West Ham turnaround

    West Ham 2-1 Brighton

Alisha Lehmann has done it again!

Her speed takes her clear of the Brighton defence and she stays composed to slot the ball beyond keeper Megan Walsh.

All of a sudden West Ham lead, with six minutes left.

  11. Lehmann levels for Hammers

    West Ham 1-1 Brighton

She missed a chance a short time ago but Alisha Lehmann makes no mistake this time - bundling home her second league goal of the season to level for West Ham.

Kate Natkiel should've doubled Brighton's lead minutes before - will she rue that miss?

  12. Sigsworth hails Earps impact

    Result: Man Utd 3-0 Tottenham

After scoring the second of Manchester United's goals in their 3-0 win over Spurs earlier, Red Devils striker Jess Sigsworth told Sportsbeat: “Mary [Earps] made some great saves at 0-0 which changed the game and then when we came out second half, we knew we could beat them and got the three goals.

“They left it more open for us and we’ve got pace and power in wide areas and I think we exploited it well."

  13. Post update

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

There are less than 15 minutes remaining at the Stoke Gifford Stadium now and the hosts are yet to test Liverpool keeper Anke Preuss since Charlie Wellings' penalty was saved 15 minutes or so ago.

  14. 'I take responsibility for the loss'

    FT Arsenal 1-4 Chelsea

Arsenal manager Joe Montemurro tells BT Sport: "I take responsibility. I changed the system and structure and it didn’t work.

"I never have regrets, we have a plan, we work towards it. I installed it, I take responsibility.

"The game was done at half-time I think. I’m always proud of my players however they represent the group. I’m always happy to coach them, it’s just this game went the way it did."

    Joe Montemurro
  15. CLOSE!

    Bristol City 0-1 Liverpool

The visitors almost have a second but Sophie Baggaley saves well from Rinsola Babajide's driven strike.

  16. Hammers miss golden chance to level

    West Ham 0-1 Brighton

Brighton had looked more like extending their lead in this second half but West Ham have just spurned a great opportunity to level.

Switzerland striker Alisha Lehmann uses her pace to dribble clear of the home defence but drags her shot just wide of the far post.

  17. 'A Champions League level performance'

    FT: Arsenal 1-4 Chelsea

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes tells BT Sport: "I looked at my watch after 22 minutes, we were 3-0 up and I thought to myself: 'This is a strange situation to be in'.

"Everything we hit in the first 15 minutes went into the top corner. We’re hungry, this is the team that’s performing in the biggest games.

"When we play like this, it’s really difficult, it’s a Champions League-level performance, everybody was outstanding."

    Emma Hayes
  18. SUBSTITUTION (Bristol City)
