  7. Post update

    Phew.

As another frantic day in the English Football League ends, let's take a look at some of the headlines...

  8. FULL-TIME

    Charlton 0-1 Middlesbrough

Paddy McNair's goal was enough for Boro to get all three points at The Valley against a wasteful Charlton.

This win puts a record of no wins in their past 10 league games behind Middlesbrough boss Jonathan Woodgate.

  9. FULL-TIME

    Stoke 5-1 Hull

Two goals from Nick Powell, a Tyrese Campbell penalty and former Hull man Sam Clucas scored a brace as Stoke thrashed Hull.

Leonardo Da Silva Lopes scored a consolation for the Tigers

Hull are now winless in their last 11 Championship fixtures and sit just above the relegation zone.

  10. FULL-TIME

    Wigan 0-0 Luton

In-form Wigan fail to make it four wins in a row after this stalemate while Luton move off the bottom of the table but stay in the drop zone to swap places with Barnsley.

  11. FULL-TIME

    Preston 1-3 QPR

QPR come from behind to beat Preston with 10 men in one of the comeback victories of the day.

A second half to forget for Preston, meanwhile, as they miss the opportunity to bolster their place in the Championship play-off places.

  12. Post update

    League One latest

A late equaliser for Gillingham at Sunderland!

  13. FULL-TIME

    Birmingham 1-3 Reading

Reading fell behind to Scott Hogan's early goal but Blues' long unbeaten run is ended by the Royals' second-half turnaround.

  14. FULL-TIME

    Swansea 0-0 West Brom

All over and West Brom slip to second after drawing against Swansea as Leeds have beaten Huddersfield.

Meanwhile, a decent point for the Swans.

  15. FULL-TIME

    Leeds 2-0 Huddersfield

All over at Elland Road and a massive victory for Leeds in their Yorkshire derby against Huddersfield.

Top of the Championship awaits the result at the Liberty Stadium, with West Brom currently goalless against Swansea.

  16. FULL-TIME

    Barnsley 0-2 Cardiff

Goals from Will Vaulks and Callum Paterson were enough for the Bluebirds to pick up all three points at Oakwell.

That's back-to-back defeats for Barnsley who go bottom of the league while Cardiff avoid going five Championship games without a win for the first time since 2016.

  17. FULL-TIME

    Brentford 5-0 Sheff Wed

A thumping Brentford win gives them their first three-point haul in the Championship for a month.

Meanwhile it's a day to forget for Sheffield Wednesday who just weren't at the races.

  18. Post update

    Leeds 2-0 Huddersfield

Five minutes added on at Elland Road and, barring a late West Brom goal against Swansea, Leeds are going top of the Championship.

  19. GOAL: Birmingham 1-3 Reading

    Pele (87 mins)

Pele (not that one) surely wraps up the three points for Reading.

  20. GOAL: Stoke 5-1 Hull

    Nick Powell (85 mins)

It's absolute heartache for the Hull fans but Stoke have been brilliant today.

Nick Powell flicks it home at the near post to make it five and that's his second of the game.
