    And that's all for tonight.

See you tomorrow for Lyon v Bayern Munich.

I've never been a Neymar fan. He is not a centre half who can kick it 60 yards.

For far too long he has been the guy you just want to get infuriated with but tonight he was a joy to watch.

Weirdly after the third goal, he ran over to Bernat. I was thinking this is the new Neymar, it's not all about you it's about the team.

He was totally at the top of his game.

  4. 'PSG's win is deserved'

    RB Leipzig 0-3 PSG

RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann, speaking to BT Sport: "At the end the ticket for the final for PSG is well deserved. First 10-12 minutes we played well. PSG has so much quality and at the end they were the better team, but football is sometimes like that.

"We have to decide before the game if we want to attack early. In the first 10 mins we had three or four good moments and made two of three big mistakes. When we conceded the second goal the belief of our players drained. At the end it was a question of character and we did it well in the second half.

"It is not that easy to think of the good season but after a week it will be OK. We are a young team and will try to do it well in the next season. The players can come back and we can try for the Bundesliga and the cup."

This is a Neymar who plays for the team, who invites his teammates to his house for dinner. It is a Neymar who does not showboat or act as much anymore.

Maybe at 28 he is more mature and he has realised that there is something to be done with this club.

Tuchel has let him be the leader and I think he has really appreciated that.

He did get that Man of the match award too...

  7. 'We ate them up'

    FT: RB Leipzig 0-3 PSG

Paris Saint-Germain forward Angel di Maria: "We ate them up from minute one. It's going to be tough to sleep between now and the final.

"We worked hard all game and we showed we deserve to be here. It doesn't matter who we face, either Bayern or Lyon, we'll give our all.

"We're very happy. It's a first for the club. We worked hard and played a great game. We want to make history for the club. We succeeded tonight and we're in the final – that's very important. We have to continue like tonight to make our dream come true."

It was interesting that Marco Verratti who came on tonight said that just after lockdown they went out one night for a meal in central Paris and made a pact with each other.

Nobody was missing, they were altogether and they made a pact to believe and to go to the final and win this competition this year.

I do believe that the PSG players knew that they were better than the Leipzig players and that the Leipzig players believed that as well.

They were the favourites but the games they have fallen apart in have been against massive teams and I think it might have done them a favour that they were against an underdog.

Every fan knows when they see a team play and a bunch of individuals. However, tonight it looked like a group. I watched Neymar close down the goalkeeper from 40 yards and I was thinking who are you and what have you done with the Neymar I know?

He was hurting himself and tiring himself out instead of only working when he has the ball or was in a good position.

It just seemed like a team and they can be a great team when they do that.

It has been a long time coming. I was there 25 years ago when they lost to AC Milan in the semi-final and that was the closest they got with one of the greatest PSG teams with the likes of George Weah and David Ginola.

Since 2011 the club has improved so massively and it is good to see all the hard work has paid off. they are getting closer to the holy grail.

Collectively it was one of PSG's best performances of the season. Of course Leipzig had an off day.

I don't know what was worse their performance or Nagelsmann's suit. that helped PSG but they were still so focused and could have scored seven or eight goals tonight.

I think PSG just went into cruise control from fourth gear into neutral.

Leipzig gave it a go for the first 10 minutes and then the likes of Neymar and Mbappe put their stamp on the game. As soon as those goals went in it sucked the life out of Leipzig.

The club has been waiting for this for the last nine years. There have been bumps along the road.

To be there is an achievement in itself after all the heartbreaks and disappointments along the way, even if that win was a bit underwhelming, in that it was far too easy.

On Sunday it will be Thiago Silva's last game after eight years at the club, imagine if he finishes by winning the Champions League. It would mean so much for him, for Neymar and for Thomas Tuchel but there is one more to go.

PSG were far too good and in a way they should be with the players they have. I was a wee bit miffed they didn't keep it up.

But just looking at them now Marquinhos is injured and has cramp and Thiago Silva is also being treated for cramp.

I do wonder if that big break they had may have an affect on them. How much energy they will have against a team who pushes them all the way. If it goes to extra-time I am not backing them.
