  1. Thank you and good night

    Daryl Dike

And that brings an end to another eventful midweek in the EFL.

One thing I think we can all use a bit more in our lives is Daryl Dike.

We'll leave you with his animated face as his two goals kept Barnsley's incredible Championship campaign rolling.

Until Saturday - thanks for being with us and make sure you catch up on all tonight's Championship reports.

  2. We'll be back on Saturday

And if there is such a thing as a breather this season, we'll be taking one between now and Saturday with our EFL coverage here across BBC Sport.

There's 11 Championship fixtures plus a full programme in Leagues One and Two to come at the weekend, starting at lunchtime on Saturday with promotion chasers Brentford hosting Forest and culminating in the small matter of a south Wales derby between Swansea City and Cardiff City at tea time.

    Plenty to look forward to.

  3. Canaries march on, Tykes keep on rolling

    And at the top end.....

    top six

Norwich win again to go 10 points clear at the top once more.

But, the big move of the evening comes further down among the play-off pack.

Barnsley's win at Wycombe sees them go above Reading up to fifth place.

Just out of the picture in seventh are Bournemouth, two points further behind.

  4. Bowyer bounce for Birmingham

A look at the bottom six first up....

    bottom six

Birmingham City's win against Reading sees them move three points further away from the bottom three.

It's a six-point cushion now for both them and Coventry City over Rotherham, who do have games in hand as well.

Sheffield Wednesday may well have dropped two points this evening that could prove crucial come the end of the campaign.

Wycombe continue to run out of games to make a great escape.

  5. Post update

  20. GOAL: Sheff Wed 1-1 Huddersfield

    Callum Paterson OG (72 mins)

What a disaster for the hosts, as Isaac Mbenza's free-kick was flicked into the danger zone by Naby Sarr.
