  1. Coleraine stay in touch

Bannsiders cut Linfield lead to eight points

It may have been by the narrowest of margins but Coleraine's 1-0 win over Carrick Rangers keeps Oran Kearney's side firmly in the Irish Premiership title race.

Elsewhere, Larne's faint hopes suffered another setback with a scoreless draw against Cliftonville, while Glentoran are breathing down the Invermen's necks after beating Glenavon at the Oval.

At the wrong end of the table, Dungannon remain firmly rooted in bottom position after losing to Portadown.

We're not done for the day yet, though, as you can follow live stream action of the Warrenpoint Town v Ballymena United match here.

After that's we're back for another five-match midweek programme on Tuesday night. Until then, it's bye for now.

    Coleraine 1-0 Carrick Rangers

Aaron Canning's goal is the difference at the Showgrounds as Coleraine bring the gap to leaders to Linfield down to eight points with two games in hand.

It wasn't pretty but it's a huge three points for Oran Kearney's side.

    Glentoran 3-1 Glenavon

Jay Donnelly hit a double as the hosts secured victory four days after losing to the Lurgan Blues at Mourneview Park.

Glenavon took a first-half lead through a Luke McCullough own goal but Glentoran hit back with Donnelly and Dale Gorman on target.

Donnelly sealed the points six minutes from time to give Mick McDermott's team a deserved win.

    Larne 0-0 Cliftonville

Neither side are able to produce a grandstand finish as they settle for a share of the spoils.

Both Larne and Cliftonville had their chances but it finishes scoreless at Inver Park with visiting goalkeeper Aaron McCarey showcasing his shot-stopping skills to shut out the hosts.

  5. Donnelly at the double

    Dungannon Swifts 0-1 Portadown

Lee Bonis' goal a minute before half-time proves the difference between the sides at Stangmore Park.

That's seven straight defeats for the Swifts now, while manager Dean Shiels has yet to see his side score since taking charge three games ago.

  7. Canning breaks the deadlock

  8. GOAL

    Glentoran 3-1 Glenavon

Jay Donnelly completes his double to give the hosts a two-goal cushion with six minutes left.

Dale Gorman's defected free-kick fell into the path of Donnelly and the striker prodded past Craig Hyland.

Glentoran have created the better second-half chances and are closing in on a deserved three points.

    Dungannon Swifts 0-1 Portadown

Swifts substitute James Convie's free kick comes off the outside of the near post and goes behind.

Just over five minutes left for Dungannon to salvage something from this game.

  10. GOAL

    Coleraine 1-0 Carrick Rangers

Aaron Canning finally breaks the deadlock on 76 minutes!

Stephen O'Donnell's header comes back off the crossbar and, after a bit of a scramble in the Carrick six-yard box, Canning drivers home the opener through a mass of bodies!

It's as scrappy as they come but they all count. It was a goal which perfectly sums up the game!

  11. RED CARD

    Larne 0-0 Cliftonville

Cliftonville's substitute goalkeeper Declan Dunne has been sent off by referee Ian McNabb following an incident in the dugout, although it's unclear what exactly transpired.

Larne's Andy Mitchell also received a yellow card.

  12. CLOSE!

    Larne 0-0 Cliftonville

Larne come agonisingly close to breaking the deadlock on the hour-mark! Ronan Hale twists and turns in midfield before playing Kelly in down the left.

McCarey gets a vital touch on the full-back's cross, and while David McDaid is following in, Ryan O'Reilly is well-placed on the line to block the substitute striker's effort.

A great piece of last-ditch defending by the visitors, but they're living dangerously!

  13. Bonis ball!

Video caption: Lee Bonis gives Portadown the lead at Stangmore Park

    Coleraine 0-0 Carrick Rangers

Pffftt, there's not a lot to say about this one.

A couple of half-chances for both sides but the most notable incident of the half was when assistant referee Neil Gillespie was forced off with an injury after taking a tumble and had to be replaced by fourth official Peter McGrath.

Coleraine need a spark if they are to keep some pressure on Linfield at the top.

  15. Dale does the business for Oval hosts

    Glentoran 2-1 Glenavon

Video caption: Dale Gorman gives Glentoran the lead against Glenavon

    Dungannon Swifts 0-1 Portadown

Dean Shiels' half-time team talk will certainly be a lot different now than it would have been a couple of minutes earlier.

The Dungannon boss will have been pleased with his side's first half showing but that Lee Bonis goal for Portadown just before the interval gives the home side an uphill task.

It was far from the worst first 45 minutes with Roy Carroll making a spectacular save to turn a Nathan Kerr effort behind while Ports keeper Jacob Carney twice denied Shane McGinty in the same attack.

    Glentoran 2-1 Glenavon

A lacklustre affair at the Oval until two quick goals sparked the game into life with Luke McCullough's own goal putting Glenavon in front but it was cancelled out by Jay Donnelly just 90 seconds later.

Dale Gorman fired the Glens in front six minutes before the break and the hosts will be delighted with their response to going behind.

Mick McDermott's men lost by the same score at Mourneview Park four days ago but they are of course to make amends in east Belfast.

  18. GOAL

    Dungannon Swifts 0-1 Portadown

Portadown break the deadlock through Lee Bonis a minute from the break.

The goal comes from a move down Portadown's left flank with Stephen Murray laying the ball back for Barney McKeown on the edge of the penalty area and his shot is diverted home from close range by Ports skipper Bonis.

    Larne 0-0 Cliftonville

No goals but it's been an enjoyable first half at Inver Park.

Larne will be wondering how they haven't scored after being denied by a string of Aaron McCarey saves.

Cliftonville have looked less threatening, but they did strike the upright through Ryan Curran. All to play for in the second half!

  20. GOAL

    Glentoran 2-1 Glenavon

The hosts come from behind to move in front thanks to a Dale Gorman strike after 39 minutes.

Rory Donnelly did the spadework, winning the ball and supplying a cross for Gorman to slot low under Rory Brown.

So the Glens are on course to exact revenge for the 2-1 defeat by the Lurgan Blues four days ago at Mourneview Park.
