  4. Coming up?

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

Scotland don't resume their World Cup qualifying campaign until September, when the triple header throws up away games against Denmark and Austria either side of a home game with Moldova.

Jmaguire: Can we patch the Andy Robertson vs Kieran Tierney chat now? Clearly both assets to have in the same starting XI.

Meester#9: Craig Gordon proving he should be and always has been Scotland No 1. No disrespect to David Marshall.

  6. 'Kieran can bomb on; Andy can drop in'

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

Scotland manager Steve Clarke expressed delight in the form of Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson.

"In recent matches Kieran and Andy have built a good partnership together," said Clarke. "Kieran can bomb on and Andy can drop in but Andy had a good assist tonight too. It's not easy to pick out the smallest guy [Ryan Fraser] on the pitch."

  7. 'McGinn's been excellent' - Clarke

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

Asked about two-goal John McGinn, Scotland manager Steve Clarke says: "[I'm] disappointed with John tonight, I left him on to get his hat-trick and he didn't! No he's been excellent. That's what he does for us; that's why we use him as an attacking midfield player."

  8. 'What's not to be positive about?' - Clarke

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

Scotland manager Steve Clarke: "It was a good performance. We picked a team that would be positive and get at them. We knew they would give us a tough game so it was important to get the breakthrough.

"We had to be patience to get the second goal and we were. They had some good chances so we could have been better defensively but within the camp we're positive.

  9. 'We're happy with five points' - McGinn

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

Speaking in the post match media conference, two-goal Scotland midfielder John McGinn says: "We're lucky as a country to have so many good players in a wide position. The manager said if I could just sneak into the box I could get on the end of some good balls in.

"I manged to get one in off my foot and the other off the napper.

"There was some pressure coming into these games and none of these games are easy. It was about being professional and getting the result.

"There's been anticipation building. we've had to be professional but it's been tough to not get distracted [by the Euros]. Hopefully the vaccine can keep going strong and we can get some fans in but it's above my paygrade what happens there.

"We're happy with five points. It could have been better, could have been seven, could have been nine. But we're happy staying unbeaten and being second in the group for now."

  10. 'Euros squad will be competitive'

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

    Leanne Crichton

    Scotland international

Quote Message: Is someone like James Forrest a guarantee to come back in and go to the Euros? Ryan Fraser is showing some goal-scoring consistency now which means this squad is going to be very competitive to get into.
  11. 'Every team needs their John McGinn'

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

    Leanne Crichton

    Scotland international

Quote Message: Every team needs their John McGinn. The player who will come in and get a goal when you need it. He's so down to earth and humble, he admits there's one eye on the summer for motivation which is refreshing too.
  12. 'Faultless' Tierney

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

    Billy Dodds

Former Scotland striker on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: £25m [fee to buy Kieran Tierney from Celtic] was a steal for him for Arsenal. Even off the pitch, he is so impressive. I'm sitting here wondering if he's got any faults?
  13. Group F after three games

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

  14. 'Scottishness' in the squad

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

    Leanne Crichton

    Scotland international

  15. McGinn 'perfect' at finding the opportunities

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: When you get crosses that good, you just have to turn them towards goal. John McGinn does that brilliantly. His drive and energy are good, and his timing to arrive from midfield is perfect, just perfect.
  16. 'Next three qualifiers crucial'

    FT: Scotland 4-0 Faroe Islands

    Willie Miller

Former Scotland defender on BBC Sportsound

Quote Message: The disappointing aspect for me is the draw at home to Austria. When we play the next three qualifiers, those are the games that will tell us if we've got a chance or not.
