Victories on the road for both Sheffield United and Fulham make it the perfect way to round off the weekend for their respective supporters.

A reality check for Forest then after their recent resurgence.

Fulham keep on rolling and three goals in nine second-half minutes well and truly put that match to bed.

Their fans will head home back down the M1 very pleased indeed.

Djed Spence nearly slides a low cross towards Lewis Grabban from six yards out but Tosin Adarabioyo once again is there to make a crucial interception for Fulham.

Forest fans making an early exit back across Trent Bridge or into the surrounds of Rushcliffe with this one all over bar the final whistle.

Aleksandar Mitrovic will settle for two goals for today as he makes way for Rodrigo Muniz in Fulham's third and final change.

Max Lowe almost fizzes a low cross from the left towards Lewis Grabban at the back post but Tosin Adarabioyo cuts it out and puts it behind for a corner.

They will move a point ahead of West Brom but Bournemouth will still have a five-point lead.

YELLOW CARD

Harry Wilson penalised for simulation after it looked initially like Scott McKenna had tripped him on the edge of the penalty area.

Wilson looks very confused by that but the home fans get a rare chance of something to cheer about at his expense.

Denis Odoi meanwhile makes way for Kenny Tete as Fulham make a second change.

Joe Lolley with a lovely through ball into the Fulham area, but Brennan Johnson denied a chance to finish as he is adjudged to have fouled Denis Odoi.

Might have also been a hint of offside too.

SUBSTITUTION

Josh Onomah comes on for Neeskens Kebano for Fulham.

Forest also still reeling from yellow cards to Ryan Yates for his foul on Denis Odoi for that penalty and then to Brice Samba as he appeared to argue with the referee after the penalty went in.

So nearly a goal back for Forest.

Joe Lolley fires a free-kick low under the wall to Marek Rodak's near post.

The keeper gets across just in time to keep it out and the referee even has a glance at his watch to see if Hawkeye was going to tell him it was over the line.

Not to be though.

Football can be cruel sometimes.

Forest fans will have come into this full of hope and confidence after recent results and even up to about 15 minutes ago would've felt well in this match.

But how quickly things can change....

PENALTY TO FULHAM

Denis Odoi hauled down by Ryan Yates in the Forest box - penalty awarded!

We won't be seeing Lyle Taylor and his pink hair for Forest today after Steve Cooper has completed his three permitted changes.

Joe Lolley and Alex Mighten were the two players introduced either side of those two quick goals.

In amongst all that, Forest have made a couple more substitutions but there are some stunned faces both on and off the pitch now out there.

But, we saw an away side go 3-0 up in the earlier match before a response from the home team.

Time for a repeat? Forest fans will hope so.
