  1. Goodbye

Join us again for tomorrow for the final day of testing from 08:00 GMT, where we may have some more information about coronavirus and might be able to start analysing how this lot sit after six days of testing.

From here you can read Andrew Benson's report, and about why Formula 1 will haunt Mitch Evans for the rest of his life.

Drive To Survive is released tomorrow, apparently you're in for a treat with this guy.

    See ya!

Time's up, and drivers are back in the garage. Vettel's time from this morning's session remains the quickest and most drivers except Mercedes, Renault, and Red Bull managed to clock a decent number of laps.

    Final times below.

  8. Post update

Jolyon Palmer analyses Vettel's 1:16 lap (fastest of the day) and says it's "pretty crisp" and "a lot neater than than other peoples".

It is also the quickest of the week, but there's still one day to go, of course.

However, Gasly has now just beaten Vettel's sector one from that fast lap.

  9. Post update

Apologies, Vettel is not done for the day. He's out again on the medium tyres and he's just done a 1:22 lap.

  10. 'Not making F1 will haunt me for life' says Mitch Evans

Formula E driver Mitch Evans says not getting to Formula 1 will haunt him for the rest of his life.

Evans, 25, who will try to protect his championship lead in the Marrakesh E-Prix on Saturday, said the journey to F1 is "brutal".

He told BBC Sport: "It was tough. I worked so hard and got so close, but Formula E was starting to grow and Jaguar gave me a lifeline.

"F1 is brutal - I've beaten a lot of the guys in the [F1] championship."

  13. 'Today we made a little step back'

    Dan Knutson

    F1 journalist in Barcelona

Esteban Ocon reckons that Renault took a backwards step today. He posted a lap of 1:18.013 before handing the R.S.20 over to Daniel Ricciardo.

“I think there's still time for us to be where we want to be,” Ocon said when asked about the car. “There's still this afternoon for Daniel. And there is still an afternoon for me tomorrow, so overall that leaves us a bit of time.

“Today we made a little step back. So it's not exactly where we want to be, we haven't improved the car as much as we wanted. But we have plenty of data to analyse and know where that came from. Tomorrow we'll take another direction, and the car's been really good in previous days, so I'm not too worried.”

  14. Post update

So one hour to go. Track action is pretty quiet as the drivers trundle through their long-run programme.

Vettel has finished for the day with 121 laps, and for now he's still the quickest. Nicholas Latifi is still going, and he's done the most so far with 127 laps, 0.4 sec off Vettel's time.

  15. Get Involved

Francesca Gunn: nothing to worry about with mercedes, this is what testing is for. at least it wasn't during qualifying or race.

  16. DAS

    Speaking of Dual Axis Steering...
