Disability Football Festivals

The FA People's Cup includes Disability Football Festivals across the country up until May.

BBC Get Inspired paid a visit to one of these festivals and met a manager who reckons he could give Jose Mourinho a run for his money.

BBC Get Inspired's Chris Whyatt in Romford: Buckhurst Hill were knocked out in the U16 semi-final (of these regional semi-finals) by eventual winners ARD7 (pictured here), who beat Horsford Youth in the final.

Horsford had travelled all the way from Norwich and were on the road by 6am this morning!

Sad to see the back of Buckhurst, especially their passionate and philosophical coach Darren - a top man working hard for the kids.

50 Shades of O'Shea

Early contender for best team name of the weekend?

50 Shades, as we've nicknamed them, were only created at the last minute but won the first round adult male competition in Southend, and are in the semis at Romford today.

"We're all mates from college and previous secondary schools. The defence is a brick wall, Harry Talbot a simple but effective playmaker, and clinical finisher up top is Daniel Borock," says Connor Peralta, who can't play himself as he's broken his leg. " We can make it all the way."

Fellow brick wall (well, sort of) John O'Shea won the FA Cup in his Manchester United days - his Romford fan club can take a step closer to lifting the People's Cup at today's semi-finals.

Romford's Part-Time jet-setters

Part Timers are battling it out in the men's semis at Romford.

They're all based in North London, around Watford and Mill Hill, and have been playing together for a decade… and what a decade it's been!
