  1. Farewell

Thank you for joining us these past four days. It has been an extraordinary golf major, for many reasons.

The crowds were missed, but the players did not disappoint and nor did Harding Park.

    Until next time.

  2. 'It's amazing' - 2020 US PGA champion Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa recovered from his only blip of the day to say a few words.

"It's amazing. It's been an ambition since I was a little kid. I've felt very comfortable since I started as an amateur. To come here to San Francisco... it's pretty much a second home - it's pretty special.

On his experience of having played at Harding Park: "I've been able to see the course a dozen times - I wish it helped a little more. I still had to read the greens... but it seemed to help enough.

On his eagle at the 16th: "It fit my eye. I hoped for a real good bounce and I hit a really good putt."

  3. Morikawa drops the Wanamaker Trophy lid!!

    Excellent work fella.

  4. Post update

Collin Morikawa leaves the phone in his pocket and strides over to receive the Wanamaker Trophy named after Rodman Wanamaker who helped form the PGA back in 1916.

That's your history lesson for the day.

  5. The final round standings

    US unless stated

    -13 Collin Morikawa

-11 Paul Casey (Eng), Dustin Johnson

-10 Bryson DeChambeau, Matthew Wolff, Jason Day (Aus), Tony Finau

-9 Justin Rose (Eng), Scottie Scheffler

  6. Post update

Collin Morikawa appears to be video calling people - is that what happens now when you win a major?

    Kids eh!!

  7. Post update

Scottie Scheffler's putt somehow fails to fall into the hole for a birdie and a tie of second. It's a 10 under finish.

Dustin Johnson birdies the last for a tie of second with Paul Casey. It remains just the one major for the American - plenty of second places.

  8. 'Collin thoroughly deserved this'

Paul Casey, set to finish second behind Morikawa: "I played wonderful golf. Collin thoroughly deserved this - what a shot he hit at the 16th - I'm very, very happy. It's been a strange week - missing fans. It was a joy to play with Brooks Koepka. We know he didn't play his best, but he's a gentleman on the course."

  9. Second time lucky for Morikawa

Morikawa, 23, becomes the ninth player to win this major on his tournament debut and he is the first to do so since Keegan Bradley in 2011.

This was also only his second major appearance having finished tied 35th at last year's US Open.

  10. Morikawa wins the 2020 US PGA Championship

His putt just passes the hole.

Collin Morikawa drops in the tap-in... he's done it.

It's now a polite waiting game for Dustin Johnson and Scottie Scheffler to finish their rounds.

  11. Morikawa for what will be the 2020 US PGA Championship...

  12. And that my friends is that

Collin Morikawa, as cool as the San Francisco breeze, lands his iron about eight feet in front of the flag.

    Take a bow son.

  13. Post update

Meanwhile, Dustin Johnson somehow sees his approach career straight into the hole on the 16th despite having suffered a penalty.

He's back up at 10 under. Nice to see but too little too late though.

  14. The end is near

Did Collin Morikawa think he'd win a major by the age of 23?

    Perhaps he did.

His drive finds the fairway on the 18th. Good so far.

  15. Post update

England's Paul Casey finishes with a 66 for 11 under par.

He will watch how Morikawa fares at the last.

Brooks Koepka, so disappointing as he attempted to win three successive US PGA titles, finishes with a bogey at the last for a four-over par 74, three under overall.

  16. Casey with a birdie chance on the last...

  17. Par for Morikawa on 17

Wow! The youngster had the right line but it just didn't have the legs.

He remains on 13 under with one to go.

  18. Post update

Morikawa for a birdie on the 17th....

  19. Post update

Paul Casey plays a fine iron to the 18th flag, but it'll be tricky to get birdie from there. There being about 15 feet.
