By Ellie Thomason

All times stated are UK

  1. Goodbye

    That's your lot from me.

You can read Keir Murray's report from Liverpool here.

    Until next time...

  2. 'I am delighted'

    FT: Jamaica 67-36 Scotland

Scotland head coach Gail Perata: "I am delighted with our performance today. We were hoping to get that first quarter, we tried to stay with them but their second and third quarters are the Jamaica we know and love.

"Emma Barrie will take massive learning, she loves to take against those defenders because she can learn so much and she is going to take so much away from them. After this performance, we want to be playing in that ninth/tenth play-off."

  3. 'We put in a good performance'

    FT: Jamaica 67-36 Scotland

Jamaica manager, Marvette Anderson: "As I said before, we are proud people. We came out to put in a good performance. The ladies know what we wanted, the start was a bit slow but in the end we got into it. We came here with a mission, we didn't get what we liked but we have to play for our country and we did that today."

Scotland wave to the fans and applaud their supporters. They get a big cheer in response.

    Jamaica 67-36 Scotland

It was a slow start for Jamaica as Scotland put them under pressure in the first quarter.

The Sunshine Girls said they wanted to bounce back from that England defeat and they did so in style.

The Scottish Thistles stay bottom of Group G.

  6. Post update

    Q4: Jamaica 63-36 Scotland

There are some tired legs out there, but it's not showing for the Jamaica shooters.

There's a rare miss for Jhaniele Fowler but she makes up for it with a fancy lay off.

She's shooting at 80% with just over 90 seconds left.

"Better passes Jamaica!" comes a shout from the crowd as the ball sails off the back of the court after a tip from Ella Gibbons.

  8. Post update

    Q4: Jamaica 55-33 Scotland

Scotland are going for it in the final quarter.

They're 7-5 up in this one.

Emma Barrie is back on and the second-youngest player at this World Cup us looking to make her mark.

  9. 'Scotland have caused problems'

    Jamaica 52-27 Scotland

    Sara Bayman

Former England captain on BBC Two

Scotland have cause Jamaica some problems, particularly early on but still now. They are able to find Emma Barrie and she is confident shooting over the Jamaican defence, which not many are. Mid court are continuing to work hard and give options. I think the only problem for Scotland is that it is difficult to keep consistency up.

There are high fives all round as Scotland return to the court. Looks like they're not disheartened by that third quarter.

  11. Start of Q4

    Jamaica 50-26 Scotland

Into the last 15 minutes we go.

    Can Scotland close the gap?

  12. End of Q3

    Jamaica 50-26 Scotland

Jamaica have absolutely stormed into the lead.

They win that quarter by 13 goals and are in total control.

  13. Post update

    Q3: Jamaica 48-24 Scotland

Jamaica centre Adean Thomas is all over the court. She is so, so quick.

A no-look pass comes to nothing but she's straight down the other end to make a vital interception to regain possession for the Sunshine Girls.

  14. 'I don't know how many players can do the amount she does'

    Jamaica 40-22 Scotland

    Ama Agbeze

Former England captain on BBC Two

Lynsey Gallagher is a workhorse, she delivers balls, gets into space and her timing is so important. She drives really hard, I don't know how many players can do the amount she does. She always knows where Maxwell is. She makes space for herself.

  15. Post update

    Q3: Jamaica 38-22 Scotland

A big positive for Scotland right now is Lynsey Gallagher still shooting at 100%.

11 shots without missing now for her.

  16. Start of Q3

    Jamaica 32-21 Scotland

    We're off!

Bethan Goodwin comes in for Emma Barrie at GS. Ella Gibbons is on for Emily Nicholl at GD.

For Jamaica, Stacian Facey replaces Stacian Facey at WD.

  17. 'We are hurting but we are not going to roll over and die'

    HT: Jamaica 32-21 Scotland

    Former president Jamaica Marva Barnard:

"We are here and our motto is to play the game with passion and to deliver with pride. We are hurting because this is not the result we expected to get but we are not going to roll over and die.

"There is a high school at home that has the motto – the brave my fall but never yield and this tagline is the tagline of the Sunshine Girls.

"We don’t leave home expecting to not challenge of a place. We left home expecting to finish high than we now will but we are out to prove that we can fall but pick ourselves back up."
