  4. Full time

    New Zealand 12-8 Great Britain

It's all over at Eden Park and that's two defeats from two in this tour for Great Britain.

New Zealand's early dominance in the second half sees them through to victory against a Lions side who had looked comfortable for much of this match.

Great Britain left it late as they struggled to respond two the Kiwis' quickfire pair of tries and they will aim to break back in next week's second Test in Christchurch.

    Kenny Bromwich tackle

Heartbreak for Great Britain as replays show Jermaine McGillvary did indeed spill the ball before he grounded it.

Kenny Bromwich put in a valiant effort to stop him, but comes off worse in the process.

Time is running out for the Lions to avoid defeat here.

    New Zealand 12-8 Great Britain

Drama! Jermaine McGillvary gets it down but it goes to the video ref!

Has he dropped it in the process?!

  9. Post update

    New Zealand 12-8 Great Britain

Jermaine McGillvary puts in a stunning run on the right wing and Great Britain put in another run in towards the whitewash but New Zealand once again clear their lines.

This is the story of this match for the Lions. So much promise and hard work in the build up, but they can't seem to break through a formidable Kiwi defense.

  10. Post update

    New Zealand 12-8 Great Britain

Jackson Hastings twists and turns and gallops his way through several New Zealand players.

The slippery former Salford man gains a fair bit of ground and Great Britain get into the Kiwis' 10 from pretty much nothing.

A hopeful kick into the in-goal area is recaptured by the hosts, however.

  11. Post update

    Justin Morgan

Former New Zealand assistant coach on BBC Two

You talk about momentum and you have to feel that Great Britain have got that now.

  12. TRY: New Zealand 12-8 Great Britain

    Daryl Clark, goal Daryl Clark

John Bateman has been the jewel in Great Britain's crown today and he won't be felled as the ball eventually works to Ryan Hall who's held up just before the line.

The Lions win a penalty and another set of six deep into New Zealand territory and Daryl Clark gets it down.

It's referred to the video ref but there's nowt wrong with it and the Lions are back in business.

    Clark adds the two.

  13. Post update

    New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

This match so far is a tale of two halves and Great Britain look a different side in the second. Quite frankly, not in a good way.

A quarter of an hour remains and the Lions need to get their heads together to overturn this New Zealand lead.

    New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

New Zealand just aren't letting up here and Great Britain cannot find a way through despite being camped in the Kiwis' 10.

Did the two off-the-ball incidents get to their heads? You be the judge. But the Lions need to make opportunities like this count.

  15. Post update

    New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

This is firing up and there's more frustration, more pushing and more shoving from the restart, moments after New Zealand concede a penalty deep within their own 10 from the James Graham incident.

This time it involves Roger Tuivasa-Sheck and John Bateman.

Both captains are warned and the game continues.

  16. Post update

    New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

The last thing Great Britain need right now is to lose their heads.

James Graham comes off worse in a late tackle from Joseph Tapine and there's a fair bit of afters and pushing and shoving from both sides in the aftermath.

  17. Post update

    New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

    Jahrome Hughes

If you're just joining us, having held a dominant Great Britain side in the first half, New Zealand have stormed out of the blocks since the restart and have scored two quickfire tries and had one ruled out.

The Lions need a score and need one quick. Having looked assured with the ball in the first half, they have struggled to gain much of a foothold in the second.

  18. Post update

    New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

    Dave Woods

BBC Rugby League correspondent on BBC Two

In the space of a few minutes, the Kiwis have made this a really tough task for Great Britain.

  19. TRY: New Zealand 12-2 Great Britain

    Corey Harawira-Naera

That is given! My word Great Britain are in a bit of trouble here.

It's given as replays show Corey Harawira-Narea grounded the ball in the midst of James Graham and Gareth Widdop trying to hold him up.

    Jamayne Isaako adds the two.

    New Zealand 6-2 Great Britain

New Zealand get the ball down again from Corey Harawira-Naera but it's once again referred to the video ref.

Another nervous wait for Great Britain.
