  1. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Time to wrap this up, don't forget the Premiership takes a break for Europe for a few weeks. We'll be back with the London double-header from Twickenham with London Irish-Wasps and Saracens-Worcester. Be sure to join us then.

  2. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Full report coming courtesy of my colleague Adam Williams.

Wasps dominated Gloucester to record their second Premiership home win of the season as both sides had a man sent off at the Ricoh Arena.

    Full report here.

  3. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

So after four rounds of the Premiership, this is how the table looks. Wasps jumping above today's opponents who suffered their second loss of the season.

    Premiership table
  4. Full-time

    Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

And that is that at Ricoh Arena as Wasps bounce back from last weekend's defeat to seal a highly impressive victory over Gloucester.

  5. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Henry Purdy is away down the right win before coming inside. Gloucester recycle it but it's sharp work from Guy Thompson who turns the ball over at a ruck. Into the last minute.

  6. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Gloucester run out of space on the blind side and are bundled into touch. Wasps win their own line-out and kick for territory.

  7. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

So 14 v 14 with five minutes to play here in Coventry. Gloucester are still chipping away at the Wasps defence but it's another knock on in contact.

  8. Red card (Cittadini)

    Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

It's a second red card of the game, this time for Wasps as Lorenzo Cittadini is sent off for that punch. Fair play to Billy Twelvetrees who tries to defend his opponent to the ref.

  9. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Gloucester have a penalty and it's kicked to the corner. A replay shows Lorenzo Cittadini had earlier punched Billy Twelvetrees in the throat as the pair wrestled for the ball.

  10. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Oh Frank Halai what are you doing? He bursts through, Wasps have a two on one but he opts to take on the tackle rather than pass inside and the chance is wasted.

  11. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Gloucester win back possession though after George Smith is penalised at the breakdown inside the Gloucester 22. 10 minutes to go here in Coventry.

  12. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

The intensity has dropped significantly over the past few minutes as Gloucester perhaps realise this game is lost. Wasps win a penalty at another scrum and they kick for territory having played most of the second period in their own half.

    Gloucester despondent
  13. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Elliot Daly will play no further part in this game as he leaves the field for Wasps. He's had a very good game for the hosts with two 56 metre penalties the highlight of his afternoon's work.

  14. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

It's yet more heroic defence from Wasps as James Haskell again turns the ball over. Prior to that Billy Twelvetrees was so close to crossing for Gloucester after taking the ball at speed on a fine angle.

  15. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

It's fair to say Gloucester have a far from impressive record on Wasps' home turf. Just under 20 minutes to go to turn things around at Ricoh Arena.

    Gloucester graphic
  16. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Gloucester are determined to make a game of this, again they go through the phases inside Wasps' 22 but with the try line at their mercy it's another knock on. Scrum five.

Jonny May runs with it for Gloucester
  17. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

That's superb from James Haskell. Gloucester kick to the corner and win the line-out but the Wasps captain gets his hands on the ball and wins back possession for his side.

  18. Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

Gloucester are camped on the Wasps try line but Greig Laidlaw knocks on as he attempts to cross. They have a penalty advantage to go back to though.

  19. Try (penalty try, con Daly)

    Wasps 23-3 Gloucester

It's a penalty try for Wasps as a driving maul, superbly marshaled by George Smith, reaches the Gloucester try line but is illegally collapsed. Elliot Daly kicks the conversion.

Referee awards Wasps a penalty try
  20. Penalty (Laidlaw)

    Wasps 16-3 Gloucester

Gloucester have their first points of the game, Greig Laidlaw sending over a penalty for the visitors.

    Greig Laidlaw and James Hook
  21. Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

Frank Halai of Wasps in action

Chance wasted as James Gaskell bursts through, he passes inside to Frank Halai but it's spilled and Gloucester survive.

  22. Replacement

James Gaskell has been introduced for Wasps.

  23. Red card (Halaifonua)

David Halaifonua is sent off and Gloucester's problems continue to grow. They'll play the next 35 minutes with 14 men. Billy Twelvetrees argues his man's cause but it's to no avail.

David Halaifonua sent off for Gloucester
  24. Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

David Halaifonua puts in a late tackle

Replays don't make pleasant viewing, it's a high tackle and a late tackle. Nasty stuff.

  25. Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

Wasps lock Bradley Davies is down with a nasty looking head injury.

  26. Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

Richard Hibbard is penalised for coming in at the side but Elliot Daly misses a relatively straightforward kick as three points goes begging.

  27. Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

Gloucester canter out for the second with Billy Burns getting the second half under way.

  28. Ford: 'Burgess left too early'

    Sam Burgess with Mike Ford

In case you've been on another planet for the last week, you might not have noticed Bath's Sam Burgess' decision to return to rugby league and to Sydney with his former club the Rabbitohs.

Bath head coach Mike Ford told BBC Radio 5 live's Mark Pougatch Burgess' return to the 13-man code has left England short of a potentially international-class back-rower.

  29. Half-time

    Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

So all Wasps so far in this one and plenty for Gloucester to ponder during the interval.

Don't go away, we'll be back with all the second-half action in around 10 minutes.

    Elliott Stooke tackled
  30. Half-time

    Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

James Haskell bursts through the Gloucester defence with Joe Launchbury also getting his hands on the ball shortly after. It's a knock on later on in the move and that brings the half to a close.

  31. Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

    Billy Twelvetrees is tackled

Wasps have been superb in defence, not giving Gloucester a sniff, as they win back the ball and look put more pressure on their opponents. Christian Wade wastes decent territory out wide though with a needless forward pass.

  32. Penalty (Daly)

    Wasps 16-0 Gloucester

Gloucester are penalised for not rolling away and it's that man Daly with a 46 metre penalty to give Wasps a 16-point advantage.

  33. Wasps 13-0 Gloucester

Wasps attack the blind side but Nathan Hughes is bundled into touch and Gloucester have a line-out. Greig Laidlaw clears the danger under pressure on his own try line.

  34. Wasps 13-0 Gloucester

Great chasing from Wasps as Charlie Sharples has a kick charged down inside his own 22 before it's knocked on. Wasps have a scrum in a very attacking position.

  35. Penalty (Daly)

    Wasps 13-0 Gloucester

It's another penalty from a scrum conceded by Gloucester. It looks harsh but it's another belter from Elliot Daly who this time splits the posts from inside his own half.

  36. Cherry and Whites look to end drought

    Wasps 10-0 Gloucester

    Gloucester's winless run against Waps
  37. Wasps 10-0 Gloucester

Gloucester respond well and have territory in the Wasps 22 but from a decent position they are penalised at the breakdown and Wasps have back possession.

    Billy Twelvetrees in possession
  38. Try (Wade, Con Jackson)

    Wasps 10-0 Gloucester

Christian Wade of Wasps scores the first try for Wasps

It's a first try of the season for Christian Wade as he finishes off a move he started after a Wasps turnover. Wade found space from within his half before trading passes with Frank Halai and cutting a fine angle to burst through Gloucester defence and under the posts. Blistering pace.

  39. Wasps 3-0 Gloucester

We've got some very suspect handling out there, Gloucester wing Jonny May looks to have found space out wide but with an overlap he spills the ball as he attempts to pass and the chance is wasted.

  40. Wasps 3-0 Gloucester

Joe Simpson of Wasps passes the ball

Play is back under way as Tom Savage returns and Wasps are on the charge. First George Smith burst through and then Nathan Hughes breaks the gain line before the ball is spilled.

  41. Wasps 3-0 Gloucester

Slight break in play here with Gloucester forward Tom Savage down with what looks like a stinger injury. He leaves play for further assessment.

  42. Penalty (Daly)

    Wasps 3-0 Gloucester

Tom Savage is penalised for taking the man out in the air and Elliot Daly will have the game's first kick for goal. It's from half way and it's over. Superb from the Wasps man.

    Bradley Davies catches a line-out
  43. Wasps 0-0 Gloucester

Wasps kick away possession and it comes back at them before a Gloucester forward is bundled into touch. Greig Laidlaw gets his hands on the ball for the first time and he brilliant kicks for territory to Wasps' 22. Wasps win the line out and boot clear.

  44. Wasps 0-0 Gloucester

Dai Young of Wasps watches the match

Gloucester continue to spread the ball but Wasps, full of energy, are proving disciplined in defence and there's no way through as the ball is spilled again. Wasps scrum.

  45. Wasps 0-0 Gloucester

Elliott Stooke of Gloucester in action

Despite the drizzly conditions Gloucester are looking to get their hands on the ball here as they make the early running and go through the phases.

  46. Wasps 0-0 Gloucester

Just one minute in and we've already had a knock-on and a penalty conceded by Wasps for scrum infringement. Kicked to just outside Wasps' 22.

  47. Kick-off

    Wasps 0-0 Gloucester

A pre-match downpour has relented a little, but it's still soggy as Wasps fly half Ruaridh Jackson gets the game under way and it's straight down the throat of Ben Morgan.

  48. Wasps v Gloucester (15:00 GMT)

So it's five games down, one to go in round four of the Premiership as both sides emerge from the dressing room and onto the pitch at Ricoh Arena. Billy Twelvetrees leads out the visitor's followed by big James Haskell and his Wasps side.
