  1. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

More changes from both sides as we enter the closing stages of this quite remarkable game.

Saracens could still pick up two points here with a couple more tries and if they get within seven points of Wasps.

  2. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

Elliot Daly gives us a glimpse of the big kicking skills he possesses and could show for England at centre as he clears for Wasps while under pressure.

But, his forward pack concede a penalty on Saracens' 10-metre line for not releasing.

  3. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

Another great move through the hands by Wasps, but Carlo Festuccia steps up too early in the line and fumbles the ball on Saracens' 22.

  4. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

First real pedestrian phase of this game if you can call it that.

Saracens trying to find a way through the Wasps defensive wall and eventually they give a penalty away on the floor.

Jimmy Gopperth booms the kick well into Saracens' 22.

  5. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

Still 20 minutes to go in this one if you can believe it.....

  6. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

Mike Ellery and Brad Barritt both make some ground for Saracens as they hunt a third try of the game.

Strong defence from Wasps though to eat up some minutes and keep them at bay.

Ellery eventually spills it on the inside ball from Charlie Hodgson. Knock-on.

  7. Saracens 23-51 Wasps

Off goes Wasps prop Simon McIntyre - the nephew of former Leeds United and Sheffield United striker Brian Deane no less.

A real cult hero of the early Premier League years.

Anyhow, his afternoon is over and Matt Mullan takes his place in the front row.

  8. Try (Hamilton, con Hodgson)

    Saracens 23-51 Wasps

Jim Hamilton gets a second try for Saracens after both he and Titi Lamositele went sniffing for the line on the pick-and-drives.

Hamilton is the one to sneak it over and Hodgson quickly adds the extras.

  9. Saracens 16-51 Wasps

Saracens finally get to spend some time in their opponents' 22 from the restart.

Jacques Burger is almost over the line, but is held up a metre short....

  10. Penalty (Gopperth)

    Saracens 16-51 Wasps

    Jimmy Gopperth

So, referee Ian Tempest actually gave a penalty restart after all those handbags following Charles Piutau's try.

Jimmy Gopperth slams it over from 50 metres and it's another three points to punish Saracens further.

  11. Try (C Piutau, con Gopperth)

    Saracens 16-48 Wasps

It's seventh-heaven for Wasps and it's a second try of the game for Charles Piutau.

Ian Tempest the referee is also interested in some foul play after the try was scored.

Jacques Burger was having a few afters with Kearnan Myall in the in-goal area. Trevor Fisher taking a long look at it.

No yellow cards after all that and Gopperth kicks another two points for Wasps with the conversion.

  12. Saracens 16-41 Wasps

Christian Wade and Kearnan Myall shove an attack from Saracens out of touch.

First change for Wasps with one of their try-scorers Thomas Young off for a head injury assessment for Alex Rieder.

  13. Penalty (Gopperth)

    Saracens 16-41 Wasps

Jimmy Gopperth takes Wasps past 40 points as he takes advantage from the tee.

His personal points tally now up to 15 as well.

  14. Sin-bin (Hargreaves)

    Saracens 16-38 Wasps

Woes continue for Saracens and captain Alistair Hargreaves is in the bin for coming in at the side of the ruck.

Catches George Smith with a knee in the face on the floor in the process.

  15. Saracens 16-38 Wasps

Three changes from Saracens which include Richard Wigglesworth at scrum-half.

They need a change of fortune on the scoreboard as well.

  16. "Criminal" defending from Sarries

    Joel Conlon

Saracens flanker on BBC Radio London

Quote Message: It was just a show-and-go from Gopperth, who went through the middle. The way our defensive system works it's just criminal to let him through.
  17. Saracens 16-38 Wasps

Incredible display this so far from Wasps, but can they keep it going for another whopping 35 minutes?

Saracens penalised inside Wasps' 22 as Petrus Du Plessis is caught off his feet.

  18. Try (Gopperth, con Gopperth)

    Saracens 16-38 Wasps

    My word!

We've picked up from where we left off at the break.

Jimmy Gopperth gets a sixth try of the game for Wasps.

The fly-half wriggles free through the tackles and then adds the extras from his own score and his side are heading for the top four in style.

  19. Saracens 16-31 Wasps

Wasps concede an early penalty and Charlie Hodgson boots it downfield.

Ben Spencer box kick is charged down from the line-out, but Saracens hold them off at the breakdown.

  20. Kick-off

    Saracens 16-31 Wasps

    And we're back under way.

Can the second 40 minutes match the first?
