    Can't wait...

  2. 'We played without the ball for long periods'

    England 37-15 Ireland

England captain Sarah Hunter: "We all know that Ireland would give us a real Test match. I don't think that the scoreline reflects what it felt like out there. We played without the ball for long periods in that match.

"We know Lydia can do that when given the ball in space and she has come straight back from sevens and taken off where she left off."

  3. Full-time

I think it's fair to say that England have the wind in their sails at the moment.

  12. Try - England 25-10 Ireland

    Lydia Thompson

Like trying to catch smoke into a net.

Lydia Thompson leaves the Ireland defence clutching at thin air as she jags off the wing and finishes from 40 metres out.

  13. Post update

    England 20-10 Ireland

    Can Ireland find a response?

Lindsay Peat thunders into contact in midfield as they try to find a way through...

  14. Try - England 20-10 Ireland

    Lydia Thompson

Zoe Harrison puts in a grubber kick, takes a long look at it, and finds it to her liking.

The weight is perfect for Lydia Thompson who watches the bobbling ball all the way into her hands and dots down.

That is Harrison's last act. She is replaced by Katy Daley-McLean.

  15. Post update

    England 15-10 Ireland

    Bravo.

  16. Post update

Claire Molloy has been furiously industrious for Ireland.

Her side are needing all that hard work though. England are knocking on the door on the 22m once more.

  20. 'I think I know my 31 man squad for the World Cup'

    FT: England 37-18 Australia

    eddie jones

England head coach Eddie Jones talking to BBC Sport: "We're always tempted to do things, we love creating good combinations especially in the back line. Ben Te'o had his best game in a while today, Owen Farrell can play there as can Henry Slade and Manu Tuilagi, we've got some quality players there.

"Farrell is turning into a world class 10 but it's not just him, look at the development of Maro Itoje he has performed excellently for how long now?

"It's not just the players we have now, if you look at the players we've got to come back Joe Launchbury, Anthony Watson, Jonathan Joseph, George Kruis, do you want me to go on?

"I think I know my 31-man squad for the World Cup pretty well but I might switch it up and go and find an average Joe on the street to see if he wants to join in as well.

"This was today though, Ireland's a different kettle of fish - we'll see that when we're there. We haven't got to play Ireland until February so we'll worry about that then."
