Nigel: These Autumn International rugby matches show the gap between Southern Hemisphere & Northern right now is as close as it has ever been. Should be a cracking World Cup, 4 or 5 teams could win it on current form.

  9. 'It's amazing what a win like that does for your energy'

    FT: Ireland 16-9 New Zealand

Speaking to Channel 4, Ireland captain Rory Best said:

"Obviously we are pretty happy. We knew we were going to have to play well and attack them.

"To stop New Zealand scoring a try shows what a fantastic defensive effort it was. The boys are very tired but it's amazing what a win like that can do for your energy levels.

"We weren't happy with last week despite getting the win, but to perform like that shows what we can do. The problem is Joe Schmidt and the coaching staff will expect that every time we play."

Ireland are still out there enjoying this, no one's leaving the stadium yet. The players gather in a circle in the middle of the pitch as Bundee Aki leads them in a chant. Then they make their way round to applaud the fans accompanied by some very cute children in Ireland shirts.

It's a special night in Dublin.

  14. The key try

Here's the moment that made the difference. He had an incredible Six Nations this year, but that's surely got to be up there as one of Jacob Stockdale's favourite tries.
