  1. Post update

    FT: England 17-15 France

That's it from us on the live text coverage, but you can read all about how England pulled off that remarkable last-gasp win in Brent Pilnick's report here.

    Until next time...

  2. 'We can be more clinical'

    FT: England 17-15 France

Emily Scarratt, speaking to Sky Sports: "We have to find a way to win a bit better and be a bit more clinical, but the World Cup in 2021 is still a way away and we're building."

  3. Post update

    FT: England 17-15 France

So that completes a 2-0 series win for the Red Roses against France.

They finish their autumn internationals schedule with a home game against Italy next week.

  4. What a finish!

    Brent Pilnick

    BBC Sport at Sandy Park

Wow. Sandy Park is still bouncing after that end.

England never knew they were beaten and they showed great spirit to stay in that game.

It was not vintage by any means, but a win is a win, especially in ‘Le Crunch’.

  5. 'We can do anything at any time'

    FT: England 17-15 France

Here's England's Marlie Packer, speaking to Sky Sports: "Amazing, it got the crowd on their feet that winner right at the end.

"We just needed to stick to our processes, make sure we got front-foot ball. We kept ticking up the points, making sure we didn't lose the game early doors.

"The players came off the bench and did great. We can do anything at any time.

"To get the try like Lydia did was fantastic."

  6. Post update

    FT: England 17-15 France

    Phew.

Think we all need a cuppa and a lie down after that breathless finish.

  7. Full-time

    FT: England 17-15 France

    It's all over.

England win it in the final moments, having trailed for most of the match in Exeter.

Lydia Thompson's last-gasp try gives the Red Roses victory.

  8. Try - England 17-15 France

    Lydia Thompson

    England have done it!

What were France thinking with that kick? It's surely cost them the game...

England scoop it up inside the France half, find Emily Scarratt and the centre gallops towards the line before spinning a pass out to Lydia Thompson and the wing accelerates into the corner.

    A superb finish.

  9. Post update

    England 12-15 France

France are going to try and run this from their own 22.

Just looking to keep hold to the ball, the visitors, that is until a wild, loose kick that falls into England hands...

  10. Post update

    England 12-15 France

    Now England have the momentum...

France are standing firm as they're hit by white shirt after white shirt, and the visitors earn a vital turnover!

A bit of afters around the ruck, it's getting tense and edgy with two minutes to go.

  11. Sin-bin

    England 12-15 France

    And it's 14 players apiece!

Too many offsides for France and Romane Menager is sin-binned.

  12. Post update

    England 12-15 France

Fantastic line-out steal from Sarah Hunter, the captain slapping the ball back towards her own team. Do England sense a chance here?

Emily Scarratt goes flying forward, as does Ellena Perry and then Hunter joins the action.

Katy Daley-Mclean looks to switch the play with a cross-field boot - it's gathered by France, but England have the advantage.

  13. Post update

    England 12-15 France

The Red Roses are going to have to dig seriously deep now. A penalty to draw level, a try to potentially win it...

  14. Sin-bin

    England 12-15 France

England will play the rest of this game with 14 players.

Zoe Aldcroft is shown a yellow card for that high shot at the ruck - she's judged to have removed the French player from the breakdown by her neck.

Boos around Sandy Park from the home crowd.

  15. Post update

    England 12-15 France

We've gone to the TMO here...

I think it's for a potentially high shot from Zoe Aldcroft at the ruck. There is contact around the neck from the England forward - now will it be a yellow card or just a penalty?

  16. Post update

    England 12-15 France

Here goes Jess Breach on the kick return, thundering England up to just outside the French 22 once more. England are pouring everything into finding a breakthrough, but they've come up against a blue wall so far today.

  17. Post update

    England 12-15 France

Good pressure from England, keeping the ball alive and edging towards the French line.

    But then they lose it!

  18. Can Breach make the difference?

    Brent Pilnick

    BBC Sport at Sandy Park

Jess Breach is on and the winger has some form for England.

She scored six tries on her debut last year and two against France in the Six Nations this year.

She also scored twice on this ground against Italy in March, and boy do England need her to do something similar today!

  19. Post update

    England 12-15 France

France win it, but Rownita Marston is straight into the action on her debut and steals the ball back. An England scrum 10 metres inside the France half.

  20. Post update

    England 12-15 France

Emily Scarratt bounds into the line but the France defence holds firm.

Just over 10 minutes for England to find a score... they get the penalty in their own half and will lash it into touch to try and work something from the line-out.
