    Pat Cash

Former Wimbledon champion on Radio 5 live sports extra

"The injury has just been enough to put Roanic off a little but Murray has piled the pressure on."

  2. Post update

    Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 4-0 Raonic*

Andy Murray is like a small boy pulling the wings off a fly.

He drags Milos Raonic left and right at the back of the court, before testing the ailing Canadian's movement up court with a teasing drop-shot.

Raonic passes that test - just about scooping the ball off the deck.

His reward? A winning lob back over his head.

Murray takes pity with an ace closing out a game to love.

  3. Post update

    Russell Fuller

    BBC tennis correspondent in Melbourne

Milos Raonic of Canada reacts as he receives treatment

"It's been a fabulous match but the injury to Raonic has just taken a little bit out of the occasion."

    Milos Raonic reacts

Marcus Adams: Raonic looks like a little boy who's just been told Christmas is cancelled...on the verge of tears.

Andrew Punton: Aarghh! Why do I have to leave to catch a train in the middle of this? Hopefully the wifi on the train lets me keep listening!

  6. Murray breaks

    *Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 3-0 Raonic

    Bong! Bong! Bong!

The bell is tolling for Milos Raonic now.

The Canadian could well have been heading into the final but for a leg niggle. He is now a lame duck though.

It is going to take something truly heroic to divert Andy Murray from the winners' enclosure.

  7. Murray fails to convert break point

    Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 2-0 Raonic*

Andy Murray pings a forehand out wide and Raonic is all out of shape as he offers up a break point.

Raonic puts away a smash to stay in the game.

  8. Deuce on Raonic serve

    Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 2-0 Raonic*

    Milos Raonic serves

We'll always have that serve though Milos.

Raonic's 18th ace of the match takes him to 30-15 and he pairs up a big serve with a whopper of a forehand to advance to 40-15.

Murray is hot on his trail now though. The Scot takes it to deuce as he tries to smoke out a potentially fatal second break of serve in this decider.

  9. Post update

    Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 2-0 Raonic*

Andy Murray whistles through a game to love. Milos Raonic is barely breaking past a jog.

And even Lady Luck is pulling against the Canadian with a net cord transforming a routine rallying shot into a deadly drop-shot on his side of the court.

  10. Post update

    Pat Cash

Former Wimbledon champion on Radio 5 live sports extra

"Raonic is in big trouble now. He returned well in the last set to get into games and got closer and closer to breaking, but with a sore leg it won't be any easier to break Murray.

  11. Murray breaks

    *Murray 4-6 7-5 6-7 (4-7) 6-4 1-0 Raonic

    Milos Raonic smashes his racquet

Milos Raonic looks like he has cracked - physically, mentally, heck, probably spiritually.

The Canadian hands over a break of serve with a double fault at 15-40 down and looks badly hindered by a leg injury he picked up early in the fourth set.

Raonic reacts by turning graphite to splinters as he wrecks his racquet on the court floor.

Murray has been broken only once in the match - in the very first game.

Nigel Cobbett:  I feel very disloyal saying this but Murray will only lose to Djokovic so let's give Raonic his chance.

Anthony Walton: It's tax return deadline time, trying to finish off last minute panic clients and keep up to date with the Murray. Rollercoaster!
