  1. Post update

Right, as you might have noticed at the top of the page, hostilities have opened between Milos Raonic and Bernard Tomic.

You can watch live BBC One coverage. You can listen to Radio 5 live sports extra.

But you can't read any more text commentary.

    We are wrapping this here.

Caroline Chapman will be on the keys for tomorrow's final.

    John Lloyd

Former British number one on BBC One

I thought Andy played a very good match, he is getting better with every match.

What is so impressive is when he raises his game. All of a sudden he accelerates, his serve gets better, he seems to make more balls and gets more aggressive.

That is what these great players have the ability to, go up a gear.

    Andy Murray and Marin Cilic

There was a matey exchange of pleasantries at the net when the players' pressed the flesh.

Cilic showed glimmers of top-quality tennis required to add to his solitary Grand Slam. But those glimmers need to extend into longer periods if he is going to go deep at the All England Club.

Lewis Wright: Another final at Queen's for Andy Murray. Another title to come with a week to go until the big one gets underway?!

Rachael Collins: Whoop whoop! Go Andy.

  5. "Either will be tough to beat"

    Murray 6-3 4-6 6-3 Cilic

Andy Murray speaking to BBC One: "Both are very good players. Tomic on the grass, it is maybe his best surface, he is talented and getting better and better.

"Raonic has a big serve and a big game. Either player will be tough to be beat but it is great to get to the final.

"It will be about my match against Milos not about who is in the opposite corner. John (McEnroe) was an unbelievable player, a great, great, grass court player and will help a lot but I am happy with my team.

"There have been many great players over the years who have played here so if I can do better than them (and win fifth title) then it is a good sign but I just need to get ready, I'm certainly not taking anything for granted."

    Ah, yes. Tomorrow.

Andy Murray will play either big-serving third seed Milos Raonic or Australian controversy-magnet Bernard Tomic in the final.

Who would the Scot prefer to play?

"Tomic. He's rubbish compared to Raonic. And something unrepeatable compared to me," he didn't say.

    Instead something much more diplomatic.

    Andy Murray

Andy Murray speaking on BBC One: "There were some really good points, Marin plays extremely well on the grass so I knew I had to play really well.

"In the third set the intensity got raised and I got a little fortunate and played some good shots at the end.

"I think on this surface the serve is an important shot. When it lands you can get free points and in the last game, to get three free points in last game is big, hopefully serve like that tomorrow."

Let's have a look at those service stats a little closer.

Andy Murray hit 14 aces, landed with 70% of his first serves and won 82% of points behind it.

That is a pretty big set of tee-offs.

Andy Murray is just being interviewed on court and says that that shot is crucial on grass.

  9. Game, set and match Murray

    Andy Murray celebrates

Andy Murray moves to within one match of a record fifth Queen's title.

The game began with Murray winning an extraordinary point of duck, dive, cat, mouse, touch and go.

It finished with a ram-jammer of an ace.

It is remarkable how well Murray returns serve.

  11. Cilic holds

    *Murray 6-3 4-6 5-3 Cilic

Marin Cilic finally wins the game with a superb backhand winner down the line.

He is having to play tennis from the top drawer just to decide the manner of his own demise however.

Murray to serve for the match next.

  12. Still deuce

    Murray 6-3 4-6 5-2 *Cilic

    Andy Murray

Andy Murray is pegged back from match point with a car-crusher ace down the middle.

Marin Cilic shows a softer, more sensitive side to his character with a delicate, dinky drop-shot to bring up advantage.

Murray chases down his volley to bring us back to deuce though.

  13. Cilic taken to deuce

    Murray 6-3 4-6 5-2 *Cilic

Andy Murray has a nibble around the edges of the Marin Cilic serve, creeping to 15-30.

But he slices weakly into the net on the next rally and is then stretched out of shape by a big serve out wide.

Cilic lamps a big forehand wide at 40-30 though.

    Peter Fleming

    Seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion

Murray is locked in at the moment.

No doubt he will love the break of serve to close it out.

There is always a bit more pressure when you have to serve it out.

  15. Post update

    Murray 6-3 4-6 5-2 *Cilic

Andy Murray skipping through meadows, picking flowers and easy service games.

    Ace down the T. 15-0

    Return out. 30-0

    Return out. 40-0

    What's this? A five-shot rally breaks out! 40-15

    Return out. Game Murray.

Cilic now must serve to stay in the match and championship.

  16. Post update

    *Murray 6-3 4-6 4-2 Cilic

Marin Cilic follows suit with a hold to love of his own.

But he needs something more than that now.

Murray is two service holds away and has some fresh fuzz to fire as the umpire orders some new balls to be uncanned.

  17. Post update

    Murray 6-3 4-6 4-1 *Cilic

    Andy Murray

Andy Murray marches through his service game in less than a minute.

He only had to play a shot other than a serve on the final point at 40-0 up.

That was brutal efficiency. Two more service games anything like that and Cilic's goose will be cooked.

  18. Post update

    *Murray 6-3 4-6 3-1 Cilic

Andy Murray is bouncing on his tip-toes, itching for another crack at the Marin Cilic serve.

But Cilic's guard is up this time. Big serves skim off the service box and thud into the backboards to put him on the board in the third set.

  19. Post update

    Murray 6-3 4-6 3-0 *Cilic

    Peter Fleming

    Seven-time Grand Slam doubles champion

Murray is such a good player that when he decides to put the pedal down there are not many players that can stay with him.

    Andy Murray

Andy Murray backs up the break with a hold to love.

He is rolling deep at the moment with a posse of heavyweight games packing some serious-quality tennis.
