Game, set and match - Suarez Navarro
Suarez Navarro 1-6 6-1 6-1 Eugenie Bouchard
Despite losing the first set 6-1, Spain's 25th seed Carla Suarez Navarro has come roaring back, taking the next two sets by the same margin to beat Canada's Eugenie Bouchard.
A second first round exit for Bouchard, whose run to the 2014 final seems an age ago.
Great scrambling from Bellis at 30-15 down on Azarenka's serve to stay in the point but finally the world number one puts it away to set up her first match point.
One and done. The American fires a backhand long and the two-time Australian Open champion wins her first grand slam match since giving birth in December.
Hugely impressive after shipping the first set. Find a bit more form in round two (and beyond) and she could be a contender for the title.

Just as Bellis looked to be roaring back, Azarenka checks her charge, finding another level to take it to deuce and finally break the American.
Just a matter of time now?

Bellis breaks back
Azarenka 3-6 6-2 4-1 Bellis*
People have homes to go to, Catherine.
I'm kidding of course. Hugely impressive response by Bellis to break back in this deciding set, just as Azarenka looked ready to run away with proceedings.
An absolutely belting forehand winner to complete the break too.

*Azarenka 3-6 6-2 4-0 Bellis
Azarenka is raging against the dying of the light on Court One.
She's won four straight games now in the third and deciding set.
The dark is of more threat to her progress tonight than Bellis. They should be able to play to a conclusion, though.

Azarenka 3-6 6-2 2-0 Bellis
Azarenka's class starting to tell here as she breaks Bellis to take the first two games of this deciding set.
Canada's Eugenie Bouchard, a finalist in 2014, has also been taken into a deciding set by Spain's 25th seed Carla Suarez Navarro after both won their respective sets 6-1.
It's not just Aljaz Bedene and Ivo Karlovic who look
grimly determined to see this match through - you should see the faces of some
of the crowd who have been sitting here watching this serving contest for the
past four hours.
The girls who tried to start that "come on Ali, come
on" chant at about 5pm are long gone - probably somewhere on the District
Line. Some people are still cheering aces but, when you have seen more than 60
of them at an average of more than one a game, the novelty surely starts to
wear off?
Game and second set - Azarenka
Azarenka 3-6 6-2 Bellis
Chance for Azarenka to take this second set on Bellis' serve at 15-30 but an ugly-looking shot falls far long. And again.
Bellis at 40-30...no, she can't take it as Azarenka works her around the court well to go to deuce.
Advantage Bellis. Then deuce again. Then a sublime cross-court forehand winner from Azarenka to tee up set point.
Brilliant defence from Bellis with a dipping shot to save it. Azarenka comes again though, with a well-placed winner into the corner before Bellis bangs one long to lose the second set.
